I dont mind a move to OOTV, just dont make me dig around threads about the WNBA and figure skating and other stuff in Sporting Events i dont care about to read one thread.

Also fwiw we probably get enough volume with this thread that we could get our own forum. I mean instead of one 5300 post thread, regular threads on each episode or PPV plus the fantasy roster stuff makes way more sense than chucking it all together. Makes it easier to discuss spoilers and each company separate from each other too.

To be fair ive said im not sure if this stuff has a place on Impact and it probably does, but its just so random to have that run in during a key PPV (because all PPVs are key right now, but the one before live Impacts is pretty important) is just pretty dumb (imo, obv) by a guy a LOT of the viewers dont know in a match that nobody cares about were they not just hoping it ends the Nasty Boys' feud with 3D.

Ive pretty consistently been in favour of guys who can talk and bring their name being left to talk (Nash is a great example of a dude who should be doing this) and the guys who can work are left to work. Flair and AJ is the blueprint of what TNA should be doing. Ive got no particular problem with Hogan's friends coming in for a paycheck, i just dont want to see them reliving the good old days in the ring and this is because i want TNA to achieve if only to force the WWE to do better (though two viable competing promotions would be better obv).

Time will tell, but if the dude is such a great manager why isnt he running in and helping some other heel who does have a long future win their match and get over more.

Also on a similar note with the Knockouts doing so well is it really wise to have 3D vs NB or would Tara vs Hamada not be a better draw?

TNA needs to plan for next year as much as next month and making stars is key. I just dont see how Jimmy Hart managing the Nasty Boys is better than Jimmy Hart managing the MCMGs. But hey, im not a booker in real life.

Ooh, I found the Austin vs Bret segment on Raw. It might be my favorite thing that ever happened on that show.

Id consider it more offensive given his stroke following the motorbike accident that left him paralysed down half his body is probably the worst night of his life. But hey, saying stupid **** sure is vintage Cole.

Pchippa,

There's a lot more than tv discussion going on here, theres quite a few posters in this thread who don't even watch. I thought that this was already discussed, when the OOTTV subforum was started, please leave in OOT.

This

As silly as it sounds a lot of people don't like to go to the OOTV forum because it requires one extra click.

A lot of you don't know this but we actually "kinda" had a wrestling subforum before. It wasn't called a wrestling forum, the forum was called moderator's playground. Only problem was, nobody knew it was a wrestling/mma forum because of the forum title. However it was still rockin' and there was a totally different group of regular posters there.

IIRC there was a large push to make it permanent after the mod playground cycled to the next subject but it was generally just told to go to SE.

Personally id consider wrestling and MMA as valid of their own forum as backgammon and chess. Maybe now is the time for banding together and putting in a request in ATF. Or we could just go invade chess, which is basically how BBV4L got made when they invaded the old LOL.

Actually this is quite true. Kinda ridiculous that wrestling/mma don't have their own forums but chess and backgammon do considering how popular wrestling/mma is.

So how was/is this raw? Got home to see the main event, but how were the other matches/jerry springer crap?

I just got home in time to hear an epic line by Jerry Lawler: "Did you ever think we'd see a main event with John Cena and HHH right here on Raw?"

Edit: Although after hearing about what Cole said about Bret, it wasn't even the stupidest thing they said on this episode.

Yay. Looks like Suicide is gone and Frankie is back as Kaz going off the taping spoilers ive read for Impact.

Bout ****ing time, Suicide got old really quickly. Good to see all you need to do to end your crappy gimmick is to hand in your notice, get married and get found out to be cheating on your wife for 2 years.

Nice Razor's Edge from Sheamus on Cena there. Good move for him.

the monthly EDF MMA thread is hudge and if given a wrestling/mma/boxing forum would probably spawn into about 10 threads.

I rarely go to SE but there is a SE boxing thread and I hear tell of some wrestling draft threads going on in there.

opener with orton vs sheamus was pretty good. then there was a giant black hole of suck occupied by bret hart's leg and a idionormousgantic lolfest of a jerry springer segment that was as entertaining as it was stupid and then another suckhole of nothing occupied by batista.

This was how the "moderator's playground" was like when we had MMA/wrestling/boxing all in one forum. It was great, we spawned a lot of different threads and had some really good discussion.
