As for the wheel, I didn't mean it was truly random, I figured it's rigged (doubt it isn't), but I could imagine WWE just putting some dumb and awful things in, like having them make the PPV ME a tag match with the Champ/#1 on the same team, or something dumb and awful that would ruin a PPV. The wheel is good for fun once and a while on the 3 hour, but keep it there, make a Tourney or KOTR or something imo

Ugh, Bryan Danielson worked FCW last night and was introduced as Daniel Bryan.

Cue huge over reaction from rabid ROHbots, but tbh i think it blows. Surely they could pull off a Tazz or Rhyno and just change the spelling and drop the "on"? Brian Daniels >>>>>>>>>> Daniel Bryan.

Thinking bout it some more they could have probably just gone pure nickname and bought the rights to American Dragon off of him (like they did with CM Punk). Just go kayfabe a backstory saying he got the nickname from training in Japan. Anyway, he is still in FCW and its not like an FCW name will always move over to the WWE-real, in fact its beyond rare. Maybe they are just testing the water but the name just doesnt sound right. Id at least stick an "s" on the end for Daniel Bryans. Though after a few weeks it will be as normal as calling McGuinness as Wolfe or Sydal as Bourne. However in those cases neither name was their actual name so its easier to laugh off someone being pissed that they "changed his name".

Fwiw just watched Smackdown that is on tonight and it was pretty good. Everything is falling into place as expected and whilst it didnt promote the next PPV too well it did OK progressing towards the end goal of Mania.

Btw, im pretty certain the entire injury of Morrison is a work having seen it. It was a super standard move and his leg didnt twist under him or anything. I mean it would make more sense for Truth to be "injured" as a work to get HBK into the Elim Chamber, but meh, that is where my money is right now.

Re: ECW. Dont expect fireworks. They are burying the show and the brand because they couldnt make it work. There is pretty much zero chance they bring anyone back to help them bury it.

Mysterio vs. CM Punk match was awesome, both are very very good in-ring workers, fun to have acrobatic moves being pulled off instead of just seeing huge ass guys clotheslining each other.

In any case I'm sure this is true from watching SD, no way that injury was ugly enough to keep them from doing some kind of sloppy impromptu finish.

Im not sure about Drew's new theme. But i wasnt sure about the new theme for Dolph and Christian either and i got used to that so meh.

Though id still wish back the TNA theme for Christian if i could.

Also +1 on the Rey/Punk match being solid. Mark this up with his series of matches with Jericho as more evidence Rey could easily have another world title run in him. I wasnt a huge fan before, and if the gimmick stays the same of hair vs mask im still not high up on it, but the Punk vs Rey match at Mania if it happens could be the best match on the card.

In TNA news they are holding a press conference on Monday to announce something, with both Dixie and Hogan slated to be there. Presumably they are announcing the live Monday Impacts and if they are clever they have held off a week or two in doing so in order to announce RVD signing with them at the same time to create more buzz around the show.

I love the old ECW videos I've seen and the few matches they had from One Night Stand etc., are so good. Not the wrestling, per se, but the crowd. Hearing a massive "**** HER UP BEULAH **** HER UP" chant directed towards Lita at ONS 2006 was awesome. I know the Cena/RVD match at ONS was so awesome because of the crowd.

Need moar. Do tape traders still exist? I'd prob. buy a **** VCR if I could watch a ton of old ECW programming.

This is one of my favorite moments from the old ECW. The crowd pop is at 7 minutes but the whole thing is pretty good.
