Royal Rumble was decent too, then they follow it up with this crap?? Shane was gassed 10 punches in too. Awful, awful writing

Not the entire company...and FWIW, Shane used to be "a wrestler" and was capable of at least putting on a decent match once in a while. Worked what I remember as a decent one against Kurt Angle when they were throwing each other through windows and bleeding all over the arena. But yeah, Shane taking a couple bad hacks at Haas and Kingston was pretty weak sauce. Orton's near his best with the exception of the whole "IED" thing too.

Matt Hardy heel turn is pretty awful IMO. Not for the obvious ignorance of the old Matt/Edge/Lita stuff, but for the fact that they really have no good place to go with this (right now) other than Matt vs. Jeff. 2+ months to Mania means they don't have to rush anything, I guess, but there's more PPV to fill before then, too. Can't wait until Cage comes back if that's true.

I gotta say, I just watched the RR match between Edge/Hardy and Matt's turn was awessssssome. You could hear the collective breath of the Joe Lewis Arena being sucked out.

Anyways, I like Jeff/Matt angle. I gotta think we're going to get some gimmick match at WM between the two. Throwing in E&C would be sick.

Anyways, I'm curious what they'll do at WM. I can see a ton of different matches. I'm pretty sure we're going to get Orton/Cena though. Maybe Trips/Edge for the WWE strap? I don't pay attention to Smackdown (or Raw for that matter, but now that we're on the Road to Wrestlemania I'll watch again), but I just can't see Trips not being in one of the headline matches at the 25th Wrestlemania.

Maybe I have it wrong in my head, I figured this would be the biggest and baddest WM ever (until 50th, 100th, etc. if they even get there). So far it's looking to be pretty crappy.

I just hope Orton beats whoever his face opponent is so I can drunkenly giggle and talk **** to people (+going ape**** when he RKOs opponent out of no where). Yeah, I talked **** to a five-year-old girl (friend's daughter, major Cena mark) while smoked during WM24 after Cena lost. Classy, I know.

Shane is def. capable of a solid match, but it's just like they're trying too hard to put the McMahons over as face or something. Can't he at least bring a chair with him if he's going to attack 3 guys? Firing Orton is "too easy" so his big punishment is a 3-on-1 fist fight?
Oh well at least Stephanie is back on tv and hot (I hadn't watched since football started).

Shane's match against Angle was one of the most brutal and entertaining matches I have ever seen. Shane is all right by me. You'd have to pay me to watch Raw these days tho.

The ending to this week's raw was absolutely ridiculous. Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever seen. So Randy Orton wins the royal rumble after beating up 30 men and goes on to Wrestlemania gets beat up on Raw by Shane O mac. Shane actually beat up 3 men, Ted, Cody and Randy. He beat up the entire Legacy group. Having Orten stumbling to the back after being beat up by shane was flat out ludicrous.

This was coming off a great show at Royal Rumble. I can say this was one of the best wwe PPVs I've watched in a long time. Loved the rumble, and pretty much all the matches, thought it was great.

I originally thought the RAW final moments was ok although too over-the-top to believe realistically, but after thinking more about it, I'm with you guys. Under no circumstances should Shane McMahon be put over the entire group like that unless it's some kind of swerve. A lot of the rumors have put Steph in Legacy so its possible WWE may try to change things up as they often like to do to fool the sheets. Otherwise I just have no idea what they were thinking. Also big LOL at Orton's sell job of Shane's weak ass punches.

It would have made perfect sense to have Shane do everything he did, maybe get a few good shots in on Orton, but then get taken down and maybe punted/RKO'ed. If they wanted to set up a match for the next PPV that would have been a fine setup for it. Having Legacy have to sell for Shane just makes no sense unless they're planning something else which I just have to hope they are.

Hopefully Shane takes another sick PPV bump against Orton at No Way Out (like getting belly-to-belly suplexed through a glass window against Angle at KOTR 2001), or jumping off the Titantron against Steve Blackman at SummerSlam 2000. I'd like an RKO off the ramp onto a bunch of tables.

The Rourke/Jericho thing is just setting up the angle for WM25, so I guess you could call it a "worked shoot". Seemed like Rourke got loaded prior to this though.

After a house show in Victoria, BC, Jericho was accosted by a mob of fans and it eventually turned bad. There's reports on this incident circulating amongst the sheets but I think this is the only video on the net so far.

I happened to watch RAW for the first time in forever and saw that Shane stuff. Just perfect example of why WWE is horrible. Orton is supposed to be scared of a fat midget?
