Is ECW actually worth watching?

I mostly keep up with Raw (although usually it's a DVR catch-up later in the week during football season), and have become interested again in Smackdown, but ECW I haven't basically watched since they introduced the brand extension. I liked the old ECW, but Heyman not being in charge, I just assumed that this was a watered down version that wouldn't be any good.

This week's Bourne/Morrison match was about 15 minutes of pretty quality wrestling and ECW definitely needs more of these matches more often. It's beginning to be full of squash matches and newcomers, which the live crowd doesn't seem to be into at all. LOL at them still showing the Boogeyman in the opening, btw.

Anyone caught TNA this week? I usually don't catch TNA because I hate that godamn show so much, especially when I think of how great the TNA roster is. This show puts me on mega life tilt. I pretty much stopped watching once russo took over, but I still catch it now and then.

However this was one of the best TNA shows I have ever seen. The last segment was outstanding. Bang Bang!!

Such a joke, gifting Cena the title in his first match back, making Jericho look like a complete jobber, and running this awful work of a storyline about Jeff Hardy getting jumped, especially in the post-Benoit era when this stuff gets picked up my major media outlets. I guess Kozlov will fade from the title picture now that they had so little confidence in him they just put it back on Edge for no reason at all.

Yeah, but he was out for like 3 months before this and the ratings tanked. So it's well worth it for WWE.

On an unrelated note, no more Gabe Sapolsky in ROH. Anyone else care?

He didn't do anything, it was a bad angle set up by WWE.Com that justified keeping him out of the WWE Title main event for Survivor Series, allowing Edge to sneak in and win it. Nothing to see here.

i picked up bret hart's new autobiography, i'm almost 100 pages into it and i'm totally loving it

i'm an oldschool fan, stopped watching with the death of ecw and wcw/wwe merger---i can't get back into it despite casually turning it on once in a blue moon.

for old fans (i'm 26, but he makes mention to lots of wrestlers that were pre- my era) this book is a must get. can't wait to get to more modern stuff, he's still on stampede, working with dynamite kid and just got back from puerto rico working under carlos colon.

check it out if you got 20 to drop on it.

yeah, I've been meaning to check it out once I finish my other books. also, the cm punk vs jericho match on raw last week, was definitely a wwe match of the year candidate, although I am a mark for a canadian pro heel crowd.

I read RVD was a one-time use tonight, similar to the 15th-anniversary show. He apparently hasn't signed a contract.

Would love to see him in TLC. Also, eight people in MITB and throw in John Morrison and someone. But that is a sicko lineup as is. Envisioning the spots is making me salivate.
