thats funny, HBK always reminds me of Charlie in the DX skits.

They were showing the best 10 TNA ppv matches of the year right now and number 5 was an Angle Jarrett match which was surprisingly good but the ending seemed lol bad. Angle basically won by rolling over Jarrett for a 3 count after he had kicked out of everything before. Don't remember which PPv it was from but it was such an anti climax.

Also I haven't followed WWE in a while, can someone tell me what's going to be Bret's role when he coems back?

I tried watching that but couldnt get past how the edited the best parts of the mixed sex Monsters Ball match at number 10 so i just skimmed through it to see what they put where. Unless i missed it they edited the episode before Final Resolution cos the AJ vs Daniels and Wolfe vs Angle 2 were easily deserving of spots on the top 10.

Nobody outside of a select group is in the know for the Bret plans. But given the promo last night id expect some kind of rivalry between Bret and Vince, probably with them picking a "second" to represent them in a final match at Mania like happened with Vince and Trump. Its confirmed he is working with the company at least until Mania.

The current plan on the table is HBK vs Taker pt2, so with Shawn off doing that would probably mean Hunter taking on one of the Hart Dynasty - though personally id prefer DX vs HD and Taker facing someone else but meh.

Like i say, PURE speculation on my part, but id be shocked if they dont play off the real life dislike between the two of them as that is where they have been going. It'll be interesting how it works given Vince will be heel as Bret will be face and the HD will be working heel against DX who are too loved to get over heel right now given the prior work of the two (imo). They are going to require a double turn almost like the classic Bret vs Austin match (which pretty much launched Austin's career overnight), though likely done through promos than via an actual match.

Btw, expect a DX and Hornswoggle vs HD and Nattie 3 on 3 match at some point. Given they had Nattie job to Hornswoggle in the past on Superstars (WORST booking move EVER) and given Horny and DX have been working together this has to be a lock for a future match.

Less than a week to go til Bret turns up on next Raw.

Vince has told him he's GM for the night, so he commissions a match for HD vs DX for the unified tag titles, somehow screws over DX so HD win. Then he set's up a triple threat match with Sheamus and Undertaker and himself with both WWE and Worlds heavyweight title on the line, Sheamus and the Hitman double team the Undertaker, and Sheamus lies down for Bret to take the titles. As Bret and Sheamus run out of the ring to backstage, an ultra-violet light catches Sheamus' back revealing the initials TNA, and they get into a waiting helicopter in the dark.
An hour later on IMPACT, Bret, Sheamus and the HD turn up, Bret throws all the titles in the bin and sets them alight with lighter fluid. Hulk Hogan joins them in the ring with Jeff Hardy, and they all fall about laughing.

Not sure what happens the week after though.

i watched the last 5 minutes of raw last night cuz i wanted to watch some final destination (lol), first time i've watched in forever, and i must say that was the stupidest finish to a match i have ever seen. is this standard?

yea, that was par for the course for raw.
