wwe "hooked me up" once as well at a smackdown a few years ago. we had decent floor seats and we showed up and the seats were just non existant, so they took us into this like private big wig office in the arena and apologized and gave us tickets first row right behind michael cole and tazz. was pretty sick.

I honestly can't say a bad word about them. As a company they're incredibly professional, efficient, and overall good people. I work with a lot of promoters, bands, etc. and WWE is really second to none as an organization.

Something like this actually happened to me too at a Smackdown taping about four years ago. I snared a front aisle seat right against the guard rail down the entrance way. When I got into Nationwide Arena and was trying to find my seat the floor people basically said my seat didn't exist anymore . So they gave me a front row seat near the back right turnbuckle (as you would see it on tv that is). It worked to my benefit as I made a sign for Eddie Guerrero that night:

We
Want
Eddie

Lame obv, but Eddie did have a match with Rhyno that night. When he came down to the ring I was put on tv by the cameraman holding up my sign. Eddie then climbed the turnbuckle right in front of me, pointed to me and my sign, and gave a thumbs up/wink. Pretty cool imo.

On the way home, I stopped in a Perkins and saw Rhyno there with one of the road agents and got my ticket signed.

Apparently the Briscoes have been in FCW this week, working some tryout matches and just being put through their paces. Given their well received tryout match a few weeks ago this is really looking to be on. Such a sick move for WWE if they are really serious about building back up their tag division, given they only have three tag teams right now.

Also Rhett Titus (random ROH match of his) got a tryout recently. Damn you PG, i want his gimmick to come with him but it never will.

Its like someone at WWE got handed a link to the ROHBrazil youtube account and came to realise all the talent that is out there that they can buy up.

Evan Bourne to Leave WWE? RVD debuting TNA Jan 4th?

There is an interesting story that is floating around. A site admin at another site I visit has posted this story and he's very reliable but I'm not sure if it's all true yet (hence I will leave in spoilers)

Spoiler:
Callum Wallington sent along the following:

I was on Myspace today when I came across a bulletin posted by WWE's Evan Bourne. In the bulletin, he attacks the WWE calling it the Worst Wrestling Ever (WWE). He also hints that his good buddy Christopher Daniels has given him the low down on the January 4th edition of iMPACT and also hints that Mr Monday Night will indeed be debuting in TNA!
Here is the bulletin:

My time with the WWE maybe coming to an end real soon.

It's nothing for sure yet but I was recently fined $2,500 *. I do not want to talk of that and I will not just to prevent rumors. I am worried however because WWE has not been giving me much of a push as of late, and are only really using me to carry people in tag matches or job matches even though I've been with the company so long and worked my ass off. Then a guy like Sheamus comes up and gets a WWE Title Shot because he is Triple H's workout buddy. The world knows I am 10 times the worker Sheamus is and I could wrestle circles around him, but talent doesn't matter in WWE anymore it's all about the look or who you're friends with. I have been warned that at the start of 2010 WWE will be cutting talent for what they are calling "Budget Cuts" So many great workers have been cut lately I am certain they will release me. Which is funny because they just resigned me and they signed Bret Hart to a 6th Month deal. Bret Hart will be the guest host of Raw Jan. 4th wonder if he'll make an iMPACT. Oh wait that's on another station Monday Nights. Oops am I advertising TNA now? Shouldn't I be behind Raw? I'll get right on that when they get behind me. Right now I hope Air Bourne dies and The Shooting Sydal Press comes alive again. I hope WWE fires me, I welcome it! I will go right back to TNA and help the future stars create a legacy because without me WWE stands for Worst Wrestling Ever haha saw that on a blog in impactwrestling anyways sorry for venting, it may be hard to understand but if I leave WWE then you will see me soon. If you have Tivo, Tivo Raw Jan. 4th and watch iMPACT Live because my old buddy Daniels told me what's going down and he told me a wrestler debuts on iMPACT Jan. 4th who is a personal hero of mine. He is one of a kind!!!**

*the $2500 that Bourne referenced is the new fine that wrestlers get when they get caught using pot. It used to be $1000 but that didn't deter anyone and now WWE has upped the fine.

**RVD was on betweentheropes this past week where he did an interview. At the top of the show D-LO Brown (who works as an agent on TNA) slipped and called RVD Mr Thursday Night. RVD came on the show and flatly denied that he will be appearing on TNA Jan 4th show as of right now, but things can change if they make him an offer that would blow his socks off.

So what does this all mean? Means absolutely nothing. It could all be a smokescreen and could be very real or RVD could be telling the truth. TNA has been pushing hard to get RVD in according to RVD, rather than Hogan.
Whatever the case, the Jan 4th Impact and Raw show IS one of the bigger wrestling stories of the last several years. I agree with Evan Bourne if you love wrestling and you want the business to be good like it used to, you should watch TNA live that night and tape Raw to watch afterwards.

Sounds like Sydals myspace was hacked, only a complete moron would say that in the press about their current employer.

Last night TNA put Daniels and Wolfe in a match. They showed just why they are among the best in the world:

Pt 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qifo5sIsEu8
Pt 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QctIsZkKVcc

If this is their next feud after the PPV this sunday (and its a safe assumption it is) then TNA is starting the new year so goram strong.

Re the finish:
Spoiler:
Possibly the most unsatisfying finish of a wrestling match ever. I loved it. This HAS to be a teaser of their feud and it means both go into it evenly matched.

Does this mean Daniels wins the the title and Wolfe beats Angle? Does this mean both lose? Does it matter when we get matches like that?

Yeah it's a myspace post so I wasn't sure what to make of it. The guy who posted this was really reliable so it was rather interesting. I don't think this is the first time a disgruntled wrestler has come out publicly and blasted the WWE though. Carlito did a very unflattering interview in Chile blasting the WWE, as did Rey Meysterio in Mexico when he was suspended for the wellness policy. They didn't think anyone in WWE would get a hold of it but we are now in a global media world and things have changed.

Looks like a hack unless he is literally resigned to leaving. If it were real there is zero chance he does anything but job for a couple months then get future endeavoured anyway.

There is a lot of truth in that post and i totally agree that watching Impact and catching Raw later is the best choice even if you would prefer WWE to do well. Assuming you dont enjoy midget court sketches or guest hosts who are so clued into the industry they cannot even get the names of the wrestlers or the PPVs correct.

Edit to add, Carlito already gave his notice to leave when he did his interview (iirc) and Rey knew there was a huge deal waiting for him if he left WWE and he was so beyond valuable to the company he had nothing to lose. There has been a lot of critics of the company and as a TNA fan id love to see Sydall wrestling there come 2010.

Also to add its widely reported that Sydall is well loved by the company and its more a case of timing than him being held back for any personal grudge or anything. It just doesnt gel with me that he wrote that.

Edit 2, major hetero love of RVD. TNA picking him up is probably a bigger move than Hogan joining and i can see a ****load watching just for him even if the rest of the show is an abortion.

Spoiler:

This was a common ending to TV matches way back in the day and I think it's fantastic. The pacing of this match was such that they got to display the kind of mat-based old-school wrestling you would get from them in a long ppv match (there was little but headlocks for the first 5 minutes) while making you hungry for more and building tension. Not a bad TV ending at all imo.

Spoiler:
Ive seen it a few times on ROH on HDNet, most notably with Danielson and Black. I can only assume Wolfe brought the idea to the table cos i dont remember a time limit draw ever on TNA other than the terrible false finish thing with Daniels vs Angle a couple months ago.

Its definitely underused on WWE and TNA as it lets the performers put on a great match and not need to take anything from that build with someone looking weak. Far too often you see a match where the loser was booked to look strong in defeat when a draw achieves the same result and more.

Then again WWE books matches for the 12 year old kids who cant recognise how good or bad someone is in a match without a win/loss recorded.

That Daniels/Wolfe match was pretty damn good, if TNA is putting on matches like that I'm questioning why I even bother with RAW anymore. January 4th I'm planning on watching TNA live and recording RAW...unless the Hitman is for sure going to be on RAW that night, if he's going to be on it I have to watch it live

No doubt. The only watchable match on the last WWE PPV was Xtian/Benjamin, and even that was 10 pounds of match in a 5 pound bag.

Lol, so many illogical bookings at Final Resolution and questionable moves, but so far very good (im just over half way through and not caring about the Foley stuff and Steiner match).

For example:
Spoiler:
The MCMG vs TBI should have had another false finish in the other direction before the pin. The Guns looked awesome but they basically got one shotted and it took away from the match given TBI kicked out half a dozen times.

Why did Rey bring the chair into the ring at the end of his match. That was beyond dumb and not fitting for someone so experienced. Just so out of character.

In Feast or Fired they swerved awesomely. Or at least it would be if i cared about Rob Terry at all and disliked Bashir as a wrestler. Rob is surely getting fired soon anyway, he is ****ing terrible. Hopefully this is due to Bashir going back to the WWE, cos he is too good to be fired for real.

1 out of 4 aint bad imo.
