Yeah I think it will be a fun idea and maybe point out to the Major wrestling companies that a market for well written wrestling storylines is out there. Will be interesting to see how well he does in his fundraising. Also interested in seeing the level of talent they can bring in on this budget, but optimistic because it seems a lot of quality indy workers consistently work for very low sums of money.

When I came in, Foley was doing a spot with Chyna, ranting on Hogan or sumsuch. Then they ran down the PPV card for this weekend. the only match I caught was the 40 minutes 25 man Battle Royale to determine the #1 contender for the belt to face the RVD/Sting winner. The final 4 were Mr. Anderson, Jeff Jarrett, Bully Ray Dudley and Kurt Angle. Dudly and Anderson went out of the ring but thru the middle ropes and not eliminated. Jarrett eliminated Angle and thought he had won, calling for the bell. Chyna comes in from behind and tosses Jarrett over the top and he is eliminated(???). Anderson and Dudley climb back in the ring and slug it out until Dudley is eliminated in lol fashion.

Anderson cuts a weak promo claiming he will beat Sting @ Slamaversary, blowing off RVD. Cut to Sting and RVD backstage talking smack with Anderson interupting them. RVD brushes him off with a "Whatever, Kenny" and show ends.

Oh TNA, someday you will hire writers that arent idiots.

It's a cool idea. The first thing that came to my mind of course is that if I were to donate 1k I'd ask for entrance into booking meetings and try and finagle my way onto the writing staff.

I'm watching yesterdays episode of TNA without ever having seen a second of TNA before. Holy **** is it horrible. The production values are just lol for all the backstage segments. It's filmed in some ****ty room that holds about 400 people. Hogan looks like he can barely walk. Everyones entrance music is just the same generic ****ty songs.

If you could somehow transfer the aids virus to film and play it back I'm pretty sure the end result would be indistinguishable from a TNA show.

Sin Cara/Danielson match on tonights Smackdown is definately the highlight! Awesome awesome stuff

So that was a total throwaway episode, towards the title at least. If theres not gonna be any progression in the orton-christian storyline, theres no reason to not just have the rematch now.

Kane/Barrett *** those two work very well together.

TNA: Did James Storm have that shocked look on his face when Chris Harris showed up because he looked like **** and couldn't believe TNA was going to pay this guy to get in the ring again?

Smackdown: When Ahmed Johnson....I mean Ezekial Jackson was hauling ass down to the ring I was thinking "Jezus Christ! When the hell did he get man boobs? Put a bra on that!"

Here's hoping that Ezekiel doesn't turn out to be even half as sloppy as Ahmed did.

Honestly, in terms of actual wrestling quality, this last Smackdown was pretty ****ing good.

Also, Cole making fun of Layla and the fat chick who kissed Khali was funny stuff. Cole is sporting some good lines, and only doing thinly veiled heel commentary on the matches (for the most part). I like it.

Cole making fun of Layla will only be funny when Kong/Kharma inevitably gets to crush him, hopefully after Lawler beats him at the next PPV. Cole hating on the Divas does nothing to get the product over (not that anybody actually does care, but that's even more reason not to cut it down) and it just makes him look like an unfunny Andy Kaufman.

That being said, I thought the actual wrestling on the show was very good, and damn if Cody doesn't get better every week IMO.
