Last thing i heard is he is still having neck problems and while he isnt taking oxies like they were sweets like his WWE days he is very much in the twilight of his career and potentially risks a HUGE accident constantly with his weakened neck.

That random shocked black kid gif is awesome. The WWE cameramen have an uncanny ability to find hilarious crowd reactions amongst the thousands in the audience.

Oh and +1 for Angle being bat**** crazy, but if I was Vince McMahon and had unlimited money but needed a WM main eventer he'd be one of the first people I'd call. Dude can still deliver a wrestling match like few others.

MVP talks for 90 mins on why he left WWE, his friendship with Benoit, prison life, and what he's up to. He's very candid about everything and it's one of the best interviews I've heard. Definately check it out if you haven't already.

Regardless of how much I dislike the guy, he has actually been putting on some quality matches lately. He's even started doing the ****ing Frankensteiner again, and is hitting them pretty well.

Angle talks a big game and knows how to self promote. I HIGHLY doubt he would be medically cleared for the Olympics with the surgically repaired neck AND he will be 43 when the next Olympics happens. Ill believe it when i see it and if i see it ill mark hard and support him. But i doubt it will happen.

Ive not seen Steiner since the MEM days. There was a point where he wasnt physically able to tie his own shoes without being in absolute pain yet he continued working. Not sure if i look up or down on someone for that, but yeah, surprised he is back and i guess the time off let him recuperate.

i really doubt he can get over mainstream. he's a tremendous worker and pretty good on the mic but his best is "god of the indies." his look is really gonna hold him down, fair or not.

MVP interview was the nuts. It made absolutely no sense to me when he asked for his release but now it makes perfect sense. Guy is a huge puro mark and is living his dream. Fantastic stuff.

Watched my first TNA show in forever tonight. Actually I have never watched more than a few minutes before watching almost an hour tonight. When did they do away with the octogon ring? (That might tell you how long its been?) The production value completly sucks on that show. The old footage of World Class Championship Wrestling might be better produced than that.
This new "Where Wrestling Matters" is lulz. After the 1mirrionth time they said it, my wife said "Who are they trying to convince, us or themselves?" That show is turribad. Great comedy for Thursday night though.

I watched last week and didn't hate it. But got caught up in Parks and Rec this week. Highlights of the night plz?

Cliffs: Jeff Katz is trying to raise $100,000 for a wrestling league that will run in 12 episode seasons, culminating all the storylines in the Finale.

That actually sounds like a pretty sweet idea, with the exception of the fact that securing talent might be difficult.

One major plus point is that the quality of matches throughout the season will be necessarily high, or otherwise every episode except the Finale will kinda suck.

Might represent a really interesting twist on traditional wrestling storytelling, though.
