Yeah, I was actually going to name-check Sammartino/Zbyszko directly, but then I didn't actually know for sure if Larry just kept fighting babyfaces, etc.

Really, I even get that fans will just turn on a guy forever and not contain their favoritism to the initial feud. It's the guy totally changing personalities toward EVERYONE over that one feud that seems particularly far-fetched.

An angle I always use to play out with my LJN figures, was the British Bulldogs winning the belts, and then immediately turning on each other. They then had to have a match to determine who could continue on as the tag team champions and pick a new partner to defend the title.

On top of everything else going on in the world,this hits me in a completely different but still heartbreaking way. It seemed like the heart surgery might get him into old age.

Vince gets my last ten dollars to watch a bunch of his Sting/Flair matches from WCW and then never again. Keeping him out of the HoF while he was alive is ****ing criminal

I always wonder if jobbers who were brought in to work Jake Roberts matches were compensated more than jobbers who laid down for other guys. Really seems like that post-match snake routine should have been worth a premium.
