He's fighting a couple of other guys I don't know.

They mentioned it on the show last night too. Surprised that they couldn't be bothered to devote even one segment to building it though.

Yeah, I mean considering HHH's history, it has to be quite a ridiculous burial to still be remembered as one of his big ones eight years later.

Is Sandow vs Brodus on the official card? or Pre-show?

WWE's second biggest event of the year and 1 2/3 matches that I want to bother watching. No idea why they keep throwing Big Show or Kane randomly into matches to make them triple threats; they end up hurting the match quality so much. Also seems to be very little build for the other matches, besides HHH/Lesnar which I think will be great.

So who gets a World Title shot?

Oh yeah, I neglected that. They made it pretty plain last night that Del Rio would, but that may become a triple threat. Orton isn't on the card yet and it's hard to imagine leaving him off.

LKJ I thought that Sandow vs Brodus was going to be on the card? You know anything about this?

They've sure built it like it would, but I never heard them make it official.

It will be interesting to see how they give it back to him. This 'confrontation' Del Rio is having with Booker T tonight has a 100% chance of Sheamus coming in, and the two end up fighting. They might throw Orton into the mix because he's being advertised for World Championship matches at house shows. That potentially means nothing, but you never know.

I really hope there's not two triple threat world title matches...one is brutal enough.

This might be the worst built PPV in years. That is a pretty awful card though so maybe they thought they could get buys by not building it and dangling HHH in front of us (lol)? (Well Vince and HHH probably thought that anyway.)

and when I say worst build in years i am taking into account it is Summer Slam, an alleged "big" PPV, and fully realize there were plenty of B PPVs that got ****ty builds along the way.

Yeah I agree, given the size of the PPV it has really been built horribly. It might turn out to be a solid show, but that will purely be on the workers making it happen.

I think they just tossed Miz vs. Rey in there for the hell of it. I don't remember those two ever interacting with each other since Rey's return.

Satino is a joke. I hope they take the title off of him. I'm not going to say do that to make it meaningful again, because that won't happen. I just don't like Satino.
