So much better, if you're going the ADR amazing comeback route, to have him come out at like #4 and survive until the final 3 or something. No sense wasting a win on him, and that would actually do more.

because they already wasted them in feuds with cena and h, the former doesn't need advancing and the latter of which isn't even regular talent

ideally they could have used bork with ziggler with a ziggler face turn or something like that, but if how they've used them (and how they plan on using them) is any indication, they're better off having them face each other

Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal will be the final. Two Mahal will eliminate Slater and win the RR causing the breakup of 3 man band in the process. Slater will win the EC and become the new champion and face Mahal at WM. This fued will continue for a year and usher in a new era for the WWE. Drew McIntyre will continue to not be used even though he's the most talent one of the three.

LOL @ no big surprise entrants and then listing Brock in the final 4. I'd consider him a big surprise entrant.

I guess that's a fair point, but Brock is on the roster whereas a Batista or Goldberg or someone like that is not...and that's more the direction I was going.

Yeah, "in for the AIDS" is a fine meme but the PPVs have delivered more often than not. I expect good things tonight.

I was a minute out actually as I edited my post a minute afterwards cos my post looked kinda trollish lol.

And yeah we all say AIDS all the time but we wouldn't watch if it was that bad. It's just fun to rip on the product.

I mean...Raw really IS that bad lately. At least to me, it's basically that: PPVs are still fun, Raws kind of sort of build the PPVs, posting in the viewing thread is fun enough to continue tuning in a bit, and wrestling WILL be a better product than this on a consistent basis again one day. All of that leads me to stick it out.

If they rattled off several AIDSy PPVs in a row though, they could probably lose me.

i suspect we'll know whether rock wins or loses based on its placement on the card. punk retaining is very unlikely to go on after the rumble but rock winning the title absolutely closes the show

^ yup.

And if it goes before the Rumble, the loser is suddenly a frontrunner to win the Rumble.

I still think there's basically zero chance Punk/Dwayne doesn't go on last.

i genuinly dont watch and only read about it/watch punk heyman highlights the day after. if theres a return or anything interesting happen ill tune in.

i used to watch raw every week live even though its on at 2 am , up untill it went to 3 hours. so in my case. it is just that bad

Despite my excitement for tonight, I DO remember how pumped we all were for last years Rumble and how AIDS that turned out to be.

Yeah that was the end of me buying WWE PPVs. I happily payed for the MITB that featured Cena and Punk, and a few after that, but last year's Rumble was just freaking terrible. It was a card that had potential (including Punk vs. Ziggler) but failed in pretty much every way possible.

you mean to tell me you weren't stoked about all 3 announcers in the rumble? c'mon, who didn't mark the **** out for the in-ring return of michael cole

Remember when they had a Kurt Angle/pre-HOP Mark Henry title match go on after the Royal Rumble, just to set up an Undertaker return.

I think both title matches went on after the rumble that year.

Haven't got any weed for this btw which kinda sucks. Will decrease my enjoyment by at least 50%.
