agreed.

Rock showing up would make me very happy due to my draft pickings as the second his music hits the odds of him winning jump to at least 75% (not trolling!)

Minor spoiler:

Spoiler:
Word has it Brodus Clay will be getting his full entrance at the Rumble, meaning we can expect him to be #2 to Miz's #1.

The above being fairly inconsequential, let's get some predictions going on in here.

WWE Championship Match - CM Punk retains, Ace tries to screw him but fails.
World Heavyweight Championship Match - Bryan retains by tapping out Big Show after Big Show knocks out Henry. They mentioned submissions counting in cages matches on Friday's SmackDown for a reason.
John Cena vs Kane - Kane wins by DQ after Cena goes ape**** on him with a chair. Kane escapes and gives us some classic evil laughter when he realises his plan is coming together.

Royal Rumble Match

Winner - Chris Jericho

Most Eliminations - Sheamus

Number 30 entrant - Chris Jericho

Longest time in match - Wade Barrett

Ill do my predictions.

John Cena vs Kane: Double DQ or Double Count out

Triple Threat Cage Match- I see Show and Henry knocking each other out and Bryan taking advantage and pinning one of them

Cm Punk vs Dolph Ziggler- If this was going last I could see Punk turning but since I assume it isnt. I see Punk beating up Ziggler and Ace and winning

Rumble-
First out- Jinder Mahal
Most eliminations- Brodius Clay
Number 30- Chris Jericho
Longest time in match- Dolph Ziggler

Final Four
Dolph Ziggler
Brodius Clay
Chris Jericho
Randy Orton

Winner- Chris Jericho

CM Punk retains

Bryan retains

Cena goes over clean and embraces the hate. If he doesn't go over clean then its a DQ or countout. No chance Kane pins him.

Royal Rumble winner: Jericho
Longest time in the match: The Miz or Kofi
Most eliminations: Orton or Seamus

FWIW, Kane beating Cena and then booking a nice win at EC makes him super strong and I think the ideal guy to face Taker at WM. Someone In the last month posted a fantasy book storyline where Kane ends the streak, and I could be down with that.

i hate the idea of the streak getting broken by another guy that doesnt have much longer in his career.

It makes great sense kayfabe though. I'd frankly worry about having someone who is "the next big thing" break it, get shot to the moon, and not pan out later on.

Edit: Cena is the one guy who is strong enough to end it, and it would make sense for him to do so. But SuperCena ending the streak is such an insta-puke prospect that it would cause a global revolt among fans.

based on what we know about john cena the person, i dont think he would want to nor happily accept ending the streak.

WWE Championship Match - CM Punk
World Heavyweight Championship Match - Bryan via cheap escape involving some AJ distraction goodness after Show is "about to win"
John Cena vs Kane - Puhleez, Cena

Royal Rumble Match

Winner - Chris Jericho by default (I'm using my one time, dealer)
Most Eliminations - Brodus Clay, doing the "come out at about #3, clear house against the likes of JTG and Hacksaw Duggan, funkasaur in the ring with his girls for a minute" thing that will annoy me no end
Number 30 entrant - Jericho
Longest time in match - Orton (#10 as the "zomg the fun stops for the Funkasaur" entrant - #29 eliminated)
Last Two Eliminated - Orton and Barrett

Hard to say if Cena would want to or happily accept. There is absolutely zero chance Cena got to where he is without an ego of some kind. Sure, he is no HHH/HBK/Nash but he is undoubtedly thinking beyond having a bunch of matches no one really remembers and then retire with a lot of cash. I think he would love the chance to break the streak and have a huge heel turn off the back of it and its one of the few ways to get a completely clean turn with him as a normal heel turn would make a lot of people who currently boo him start cheering. Zero chance that happens if he breaks the streak to do it.

I have a feeling tonight is the night that sets Show off. AJ is getting WMDed or choke slammed afaik.

No predictions tonight for me, i think there are a lot of ways they can go and id rather not overthink it right now. Im really looking forward to the PPV though and i ****ed up my sleep schedule just to make sure im awake for it live tomorrow morning.

As for the winner, I haven't decided yet. I'm not 100% sold on Jericho.

Hypothetical even money bet, would you take Jericho or the field?

World Title: It has to be Bryan in this spot.
Cena/Kane: I think this turns into some kind of overbooked fiasco by the end, but I think Cena wins
WWE Title: There have been so many throw-away reigns of the major titles the last few years and this is really the only spot to throw in a major swerve, so I'm gonna go with Ziggler in an upset. I don't feel great about it though.

Rumble-
Winner: Jericho
Most Eliminations: Orton
Longest lasting: The Miz

Jericho. I don't see what the point of all of this "world-ending" talk is if it isn't him destroying the Rumble and becoming instant main event. Sure people can lose the Mania title shot before then, but Orton entering into either world title picture makes zero sense right now. I guess someone like Rock or Cena could throw things off but again there are other ways of giving Cena the belt before Mania if they really want that match to be for the title.

Actually I am going with this for my fantasy booking (yes I realize it doesn't make that much sense but lolWWE):

Ace screws Punk, HHH comes out for a restart but it ends in more garbage when Otunga and some other goofs get involved. H's throws the match out and says Ziggler and Punk can be the last two entries because he is making the Rumble be for the WWE Championship. Hence, every superstar is eligible because they are going to trash the 30 entries thing right before it starts (ruining our pools in the process) and let EVERYONE be in the match for a shot at the title.
