thanksgiving he played against the best defense in the nfl on a short week on the road in a game where the o-line was so overmatched he was sacked 9 times and hurried at least 10 times more. he only had 1 turnover on a play that was entirely braylon edwards fault
since then he has had only 1 turnover in 26 quarters (the fumble near the half against the saints). counting on him to turn the ball over is not gonna be a very good plan
SRM (d/b/a IRM) defends Alex Smith ITT. It must be one day to football season.
question: are the san francisco 49ers still in the super bowl?
answer: yes

They loaded the week 1 schedule nicely this year. Glad that I (and most of the rest of the country) are getting Niners-Cowboys late on Sunday. Hopefully the Colts can play a competitive game with Denver Sunday night as well.
So ****ing weird when they act like the QBs are actually playing each other. Kaep played well and Romo played poorly, but I'm relatively sure that it's the SF defense that exploited Romo.

Our rivalries feel dull now that none of the other teams has a truly contemptible coach. I ****ing hated Harbaugh with the fire of a thousand suns, and to a lesser extent hated Jeff Fisher and Bruce Arians. Now all of the rival coaches are boring.
Anyway, Monday’s game probably doesn’t go well, but I wouldn’t be totally floored by an upset. Seattle is pretty flimsy compared to its 7-2 record, but there are still enough pieces to rise up and beat whoever. Russell Wilson is playing out of his damn mind.
I mean this year’s Seahawks aren’t any good, at least yet. I went in expecting a loss. Basically just hoping that they close the year out in a way that makes me look forward to next season.
So I’m afraid this game was never really going to be able to upset me much unless we put it in a stranglehold and then choked it away or something.
