Watching the ravens post game interview reminds me of a survivor series interview from the 90s

They were so far from being a fun underdog. That was the biggest luckbox run I can ever remember bearing witness to. Such a garbage team had no place sullying the big game. I ended up rooting for the Steelers FFS, and I detest them.

this is ****ing awesome. i was too young in 95 to appreciate the gravity of what i was watching and at that point the niners in the NFCCG was a birthright. the erickson/nolan era was so ****ing brutal to watch and it looked like reclaiming even a shred of past glory was a pipedream

seeing the giants and 9ers as potential dynasties simultaneously and finally having the franchise qb that can steward the ship...feels good man. feels very good indeed

and as to jkl, glad to see that beneath his nonchalante exterior, the truth is, seeing the niners go to and potentially win a super bowl hurts him
