I didn't love or hate the main event, enjoyed it for the most part though. KO vs KO should be fun again.

I don't like Ospreay at all either and really don't want his style to catch on. I've only seen Ishimori in TNA so probably not a good representation but he seemed ok, nothing really stood out to me though.

If Jericho goes over Naito I might just stop watching NJPW for a while.

Somehow I'll be shocked if Big Dave doesn't give Okada/Tanahashi 5*. Reading another forum for it and 6/7 people gave it 5*. Over on cagematch.net the match is the #1 rated over the last 4 weeks (as far back as can go for that stat) at 9.60 w/94 votes and for reference, Ciampa/Gargano's at 9.37 and the top match of all time is at 9.84 (Omega/Naito G-1 2016).

KUSHIDA vs. Will has an 8.99 score so far. I've yet to see anyone but Kabong not be blown away by this match. I really want to like this match because I'm a huge KUSHIDA mark but I just don't.

Pentagon Jr. vs Jimmy Jacobs was a pretty fun match. Sick ending spot. Penta is one of my favourites out there right now.

Any interest from people in a $10 entry and winner take all bet on Dominion's main event? Each person guesses how long it'll last and person closest without going over, goes over? I'm up for different ideas on how to do the bet as well to ensure a winner.

-------------------
MiSu is putting on a self promoted show celebrating 30 years of wrestling on 6/23. Or as I'd put it, celebrating 30 years of being a miserable ****, kicking ring boys, and slapping the **** out of every one he's ever been in the ring with.

The main event of that show is MiSu vs. Okada.

Not going to bet on it, but it has to go more than an hour or else why set it up this way?

Omega in three falls, 1:22:30 time.

And when Okada wins I nuke the NJPW offices.

If it were one fall, I'd say they could do it in < an hour but this way's gotta go an hour.

wrt Okada winning: it seems like they're setting up to have Naito merge the IC with the IWGP. I guess you could have Kenny win at Dominion, have Naito win the G-1 again, and have that at WK. But I don't see a WK main event w/o Okada so I feel like what's going to happen is: Kenny wins belt, Okada wins G-1, Naito beats Kenny at KoPW in October and it's a rematch of Naito vs. Okada at the dome.

I 100 percent agree on Kenny winning title, Okada winning G1. Where they go from there, not sure, but your thought is definitely possible.

I didn't realize that ASW was out already. Gonna have to give that a watch. PWG is infinitely better than WWE atm even with all of their talent gobbled up by WWE.

I gotta say I'm pretty excited for Dominion.

Same. Even the undercard looks at least decent. Lack of KUSHIDA makes me a sad panda.

It's also on the 23rd anniversary of the GMOAT (Misawa/Kobashi vs Kawada/Taue). Perhaps that's an omen

I was thinking of grabbing NJPW World for this but I don't envision making it another 5 hours even with a stacked card

Kenny and Okada have a lot to live up to here. I was listening to yesterday's Observer podcast and Dave's already ****ting on it lol. "well the real match won't start until the 3rd fall". He's not wrong but that's pretty funny coming from him.

I've got a really nice creek if you're still up, I can PM.

Suzuki/Ishii stuff was pretty funny/crazy. Wonder if these guys are friends in real life and just like punching each other lol.

Somehow I think the winner of this garbage 6-man will show us who's winning the main event tonight.

I didn't even register it until I just saw it but two of my all time top ten favorites are teaming now (Mysterio/Tanahashi) Go Ace!

Will came within probably 3 inches of breaking Hiromu's neck or just straight up killing him. That was terrible.
