Okada'd reign has been great but I'm ready for it to be over. KOPW should be a great card, but every match on the card except possibly Tana/Ibushi has a insanely obvious outcome for a NJPW show.

Yeah I also think not giving Naito the strap at WK would be a pretty significant error.

Naito and Okada equaling that four letter word. DRAW.

I can't wait for WK!

And gaijins wonder why they didn't put the belt on Kenny instead of having one of their most successful years ever with Okada as champ.

KOPW is on right now. I can't find a creek to watch it live but from gifs/vids on twitter looks worth checking out maybe.

KOPW was super super meh.

A lot of this had to do with the fact the 2 main events were 100 percent decided beforehand.

There's no real glowing reviews of the event so I haven't checked it out. I don't see many criticisms of it though so like you said, probably just meh. I did hear KUSHIDA/Will was great though so I'll probably watch that. Does KUSHIDA move up to the heavyweight division after this? Maybe after WK? Honestly, I hope he doesn't but I see some people on other forums wanting new challenges for the Jr. God.

Still stoked for WK though. I'll be rooting for the upset in the main event.

This is just my opinion, but Kushida is too small to be a heavy.

I agree. I thought the same thing when Devitt got moved to the heavyweight division a few years ago and KUSHIDA's even smaller. Plus, the Jr. division isn't exactly stacked. However, I wouldn't be opposed to the odd match against a main eventer like Ibushi did with Okada last year in a non title match.

Oh I agree with that, crossover matches should always be a thing.

Going to ROH show in Oklahoma City in a few weeks. Never really watched it but do know some of the names. Anything I should know going in?

For Dar0 and any other Naito fan.

I watched all of this and it's a fantastic mini documentary/hype video for Naito vs. Okada. After watching this, it's hard to not root for Naito. Even though I've said a couple of times that I want to see Okada continue his reign, I'm not sure anymore, and it'll be pretty satisfying if Naito does win.

I seriously cannot wait for this show. So. ****ing. Hyped.
It's too bad we didn't get Tana/Ibushi but what can ya do. I expect Jay to win the title here to try to create a new star and to get some rest for Tana.
One thing I find odd is that it seems the US title's going to go on after the IC title match.
When I watch Okada vs. Naito, I'll hope it never ends because I don't want either losing.
Jr. title match is going to be so much fun too. As I've mentioned many many times, I KUSHIDA but I really hope that Hiromu takes this down. He deserves it.

This is War Machine's last commitment before being free agents. It's expected that they're going to WWE.

Wait, how can Minoru be in a hair vs. hair match?

Count me as one who was not overly impressed by Jay White's re-debut/attack on Tanahashi. That match is solidly meh for me (although I'm sure it will still be quite good).

The four-way juniors match will be elite.

Bah at wasting Ibushi on Cody.

Can't wait to see the double mains.

Switching Cody/Ibushi and MiSu/Goto to Goto/Ibushi and Cody/MiSu would be ideal. I realize that match just happened in ROH but idc. I wonder what an Ibushi/MiSu match would be like...I'm having flashbacks to Ibushi/Shinsuke from a few years ago.

If there was a gun to your head and the over/under on Meltzer stars was 5.6 for Naito/Okada, which side would you bet your life on?
