It's happening

Still time for everyone to tune in to further watch Retribution's burial, guys!

idk about this. Just listening to TLF's call of it and we have a ppv match of Lashley vs. Slapjack. It used to be better.

I see that Roman vs. Uso #2 was a 45 minute segment. I don't think I'll make it to that one. Nobody can care about an Uso for that long.

The match was fine, but story inside of it was very good. Only better storytelling in HIAC that I can remember was the Undertaker/HHH match at WM

Y’all remember when ppvs were like 800+ posts? I miss peak 2p2 wrestling

I miss it too . This place was a safeheaven from the lolIWC groupthink that is downright cancer.

Just getting around to watching this, Reigns/Jey Uso 2 is on par with the first one. I love storytelling based wrestling so much.

Well clearly setting up for Edge/Orton Wrestlemania where Edge wins. Guessing the main event will be Bryan/Reigns, with Bryan winning Royal Rumble. Saw some youtube where Bryan saw this as his final run as a full timer. If so...

Show was pretty great, I watched the cell matches and Miz/Otis and fast-forwarded through the rest. Thought all of the cell matches delivered in different ways, though the main event was probably the worst. Loved the storytelling of Uso/Reigns (great finish too) and Bayley/Sasha was creative and had a lot of drama.

Feel pretty bad for Drew, dude had a top tier babyface reign in front of an empty arena. I assume he'll get another shot with crowds back but who knows when that will be.

Yeah Drew definitely deserves another reign.

The Sasha Bailey match was incredible. Great drama, near falls and bumps. Drew and Randy delivered and there was no chance randy was losing three in a row, that would have completely buried him. I liked the reigns match too...good storytelling. Even the Otis thing was interesting as Miz can make a credible challenger at some point and Otis isn’t a main eventer. Elias and retribution matches were wastes of time but all in all an entertaining show that advances storylines well.

A shame we couldn't get Miz cashing in on Orton nine and a half years after doing it the first time

Quick thoughts on the ppv:

Uso-Reigns: Great. Very similar to the first match. A little silly towards end with all the officials and blah blah. But they’re so good it worked. I quit match without a crowd and being able to just hear everything between the 2 and not needing a 'microphone' to say I quit added to the match.

Hardy-Elias: dumb but whatever

Miz-Otis: I called the tucker turn at beginning of match! And became obvious to me for sure it was happening when Morrison got ejected. Smart, Miz was always going over, Otis can't have the contract, and now it gives those two a little extra rub before their wwe careers are over.

Banks-Bayley was perfect. Great match, great spots, and a good finish, though I actually thought Bayley was gonna go over somehow, even though Sasha winning made the most sense obv.

LOL retribution.

Orton-Drew, didn't care for it at all. I don’t watch raw anymore but I’ve been bored with those two for a while now. Match was just slow and lame and a bad main event after two way better cell matches. Only reason I dislike Orton winning is a clean cell win is a really odd/bad way of continuing a feud, and it seems like it’s definitely continuing since the ppv ended with a stare down and not drew on his back

I'm assuming McIntyre is attacked by The Fiend for who the hell knows why reason to keep him away from the belt?

Also will be weird to see Randy/Roman/Finn in a Triple-Threat all-heel match at SS

Agree with everyone else about the quality of the story in Reigns/Uso, otherwise I couldn't care less about Uso matches. At first I was wondering why Mae and Moola were greeting Roman at the ramp after he won.

Why is Elias heel again? Fans love him and they've turned him like five times already. And why must everything about Jeff still be about his addiction issues?

Otis stuff was okay. Tucker turn felt a long time coming. WWE was so predictable with that.

Sasha/Bayley showed why everyone was so high on them coming out of NXT. Please let Sasha get in at least one successful title defense this time.

Are we supposed to be rooting for Retribution at this point? Did Ali turn heel or did they turn face? I mean, since he took over the group, they've attacked the Fiend and the Hurt Business, who are definitely heels. I don't know who we're supposed to be rooting for here and weren't there like 20 people in this group? Now it's only four of five. Feel like they basically set this group up to fail by making Ali the leader anyway.

Was shocked that Drew dumped the title so soon, then realized he's had the belt for over six months. But I can't even recall him feuding with anyone except Orton. Very much a Vince move though. Probably blames Drew for not spiking the ratings. Probably blames Drew for low live attendance too.

- I wonder if Tucker gets released by post-WM next year. I can't see them doing anything with him (though he's almost as athletic as Ivar is and not a bad wrestler by any means)

- I assume HB vs. Retribution is similar to the heel vs. heel gang warfare of the late 90's where we're just supposed to be entertained somehow?

- Drew feuded with Rollins, Lashley, Ziggler as well. Fine matches, all forgettable tho

I mean you can’t have Orton lose to Drew clean three straight ppvs without burying him. I would have been shocked to see Orton not win there.

Orton has been the #2 guy in this company for 15 years (behind either Cena or Roman). Would believe it's more important to keep building Drew up at this point. It's not like Orton is jobbing to Ricochet.

I now vaguely remember some Bobby Lashley stuff a few months back, but not a Seth feud at all. Must have been right after Mania.
