And everyone knows that a person being world champ today is a kayfabe accomplishment that pales in comparison to winning it in the 80's.

So anyone have the backstory how they got that guy to job 3 matches in a row where he maybe job 10 times before that in a 20 year career?

LKJ are you still interested in trading down? I want to trade up if the guy I want is available, I wouldn't mind a straight swap of draft positions.

I would like to either move up to the top 4, depending on who's been picked, or move down. Anyone looking to trade just PM me.

Like you, my attitude on this is kind of dependent on whether my target is still available at 3. We can talk if we're both still interested after the first two picks leave the board.

Err, if people are trading positions what is the point in a random draw?

Id like to be in an earlier spot too. Should we random draw to see who has priority so they can swap position after the random draw?

Its not my draft but i wouldnt allow swapping if i were running it. First and last post on the subject from me

I'm not a huge fan of trading positions and won't be doing any of it personally but if people wanna swap I don't see any problem with it.

You need to take this a step further and not allow trades at all because people should respect the random draw more.

#15 is nice. Being at or near a "flip" is awesome for tag-team purposes.

+2 to youtube links rather than embeds.

Also, although it is recommended to PM the next person up, it is your responsibility to check when you are up and meet your deadline. The 6 hour time period will start from the time the last pick was made regardless of when you received the PM. I'll try and keep the spreadsheet as up to date as possible along with Dylan and LKJ but you may need to read through the thread at times to see if you are up.

He means text. Sometimes you have to sub in related words in order to get the correct meaning out of Judy's posts.

For the first pick I select
Spoiler:

Alright, obviously very fine pick but not who I wanted at #3. Officially sweating TBE and mflip in the 2 spot.

That would be a terrible pick at #1 in a career draft...if not for the preposterous rule which allows him to start his career as Stone Cold.

I don't know what to think of it now; maybe he would have been able to get over as Stone Cold right away, or maybe he wouldn't have been able to pull off the character when he was young, subsequently spoiling the gimmick, and then his big peak never happens or is significantly weaker.

Yeah I don't really know how that rule works. He can be Stone Cold for longer than Stone Cold the full-time character existed? We're just assuming that he won't go stale because he didn't go stale in the time of his peak run?

I don't know what Dylan had in mind but the way I interpreted the rules is that if he starts his career as Stone Cold then it only lasts from the beginning of Stone Cold to the end of Stone Cold, so 6 years or so, and then sporadic appearances afterwards.

. Seems we have a difference in opinion amongst the co-rulers if he never has to be Stunning Steve, unless Dylan just means he can retire early by this comment.

Oh, that would make sense. I think that's fine. Basically the owner picks him up when WWF did. After all, there's nothing in the rule saying that you're drafting every guy at age 20.

Pretty standard pick. Ill either say nothing more or completely burn you on this at the end of the draft though depending how the stars align
