Just to be clear if bryan for some reason misses the match due to his concussion the bet should be null and void. If youd like to offer a contingency bet for just batista vs the field in case bryan cant go then we can also do that.

Lol, you can't add such a stipulation and reopen negotiation like that after the terms were offered and accepted.

what happens if there are co-winners, I can see Punk and DBry pulling a Hart/Luger.

A win is a win. If two people win then it counts as a win for both. The prize from the pool would be chopped in half.

disagree, I think injury meaning he misses the rumble should be void.

For instance if daniel bryan dies tomorrow are you going to collect?

Regards paying, I have tried and due to the country I set up my Paypal in I basically can never use my debit card outside of it. So if no1 itt willing to pay for me in exchange for $11 on stars or tilt, I'll just miss this one. Can bump me off the list for an alternate later today if no offers.

Well it's up to the people in the bet to decide obv. But say if CM Punk doesn't compete in the rumble for whatever reason then I would expect to just lose that bet.

Edit - actually I'm wrong, research shows that if someone doesn't compete, the bet would be void at bookies. However in that bet he has both Bryan and Batista so it should probably still stand. Again, up to the people in the bet.

I'll still pay out if Punk doesn't compete though because the bet was "CM Punk wins the rumble" with no other terms.

Is the order on the spreadsheet as it is now, our # for the rumble or has that still yet to be decided?

That's just the order in which people signed up. The draw will take place once everybody has paid.

Bryan dying suddenly is very different to him being out due to the concussion that was public info before the bet was made and the inherent risk of his job being a likely part of one party's decision making process.

It is definitely not an implied term of the wager that it would be voided, as a sudden death may be.

okay pre existing concussion reason is fair. if he tears a quad between now and then id say that's void.

Curious what you would say the protocol is for the following 2 sports betting situations:

1. You bet the LA Dodgers (clayton kershaw) -300 against the marlins. Kershaw gets food poisoning and the dodgers are forced to call up a AAA pitcher to spot start. The line moves to even. Are you still on the hook for your -300 bet?

2. You bet a a superbowl future on Den +3 vs Sea. The Pats beat the Broncos this week and the SB is played between NE and Sea. Are you still on the hook for Denver +3 in the SB even though they're not playing?

Assuming these are prop bets similar to this pool, I don't care about rules at various bookies etc:

1, the line stands at -300. You can buy out, partially or fully, if the other agrees or there is some implied (by past betting, for eg) or a specifically stated clause that allows that. The exception is if you state you are betting at the bookies' line, regardless of how it changes. If injuries are not specified as part of the terms they don't void the bet.

2 I don't understand the terms exactly. Assuming I am interpreting correctly you bet two teams will play but they don't for some reason, in that case the bet is void. The equiv here is VKM deciding to not do a rumble match, or the ppv is canceled due to the bad weather, power is cut etc.

This would probably explain why sites like Bovada, 5dimes, etc have more market share than Phil's Sportsbook.

In any event, yankeys agreed that we would void the bet if bryan for some reason doesnt wrestle, so this argument is moot. And whether you like it or not, i would not accept your money if reigns missed the match because he lost his arm or slipped from the grease off his hair this week either.

Yankeys paid for pool 2.

I say that people have had enough time to sign up now, so everyone who has signed up for pool 2 is now locked in. It looks like it's gonna be a 15 man pool so one spot left.

rorrrr is out of pool 1 per this post. People in pool 2 who are not in pool 1 will have priority to take the spot, I've already PMed kordo to see if he wants it.

Still waiting for the following people to pay for pool 1:

theshocker7
EMc
master3004
rmthawk64
Burdzthewurd
Tragichero

Pool 2:
onedollaratatime
silviodante1
El Kabong

I am losing track of pools... Is the second one for 10 bucks as well, or for 100? For ten I am in.

It's a $10 pool. We will get two wrestlers each unless 15 more people sign up in the next week.

Loce is in and pool 2 is now FULL, but still taking entries for waiting list.

Assuming pool 2 is 15 people, do people prefer we get two completely random numbers each, or one from #1-15 and one from #16-30?
