The Dream pin? If so I thought it was a bit of a botch, Dream doesn't hook his leg so Riddle basically has to roll himself into the pin.

Riddle's striking offense was a joke. If you didn't know he comes from the UFC, he comes off as a pretender. Knowing he comes from there, it's like he doesn't want to hurt people. The leg kicks in particular were so weak because anyone who's ever watched UFC knows how hard those go and the follow through needed for damage. Didn't care for the match. Glad Dream won though.

As WWE/WWF goes, I think what I regard as great matches started happening consistently at the rise of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. So maybe early 90s to early 00s? I just think there used to be more of a consistent storytelling/psychology focus, and that’s more to my taste.
