Yeah I wrote that before the match and ended up enjoying the finish.

Alright, just watched this show. Divas match was excellent, tag title match was really good, ladder match was decent and the bumps from Owens on the eve of a big SummerSlam match were worthy of all kinds of respect.

Basically I co-sign everything people here already said. And naturally I'm on the side that hates the post-match hugging stuff. Except to turn face, heels shouldn't be doing that ****. But WWE just can't resist the impulse to indulge in that ****. I'm totally fine with Bryan Cranston being affable and nice on the Tonight Show, but right in the middle of an episode of Breaking Bad I don't want him to suddenly stop being Walter White for five minutes just because lolz we know it's not real anyway.

I posted a similar sentiment on another wrestling board
and generated a lot of heel heat for it.

I guess Sasha is not going to wrestle for NXT anymore, which makes it slightly better. But I still think that a match featuring a heel who basically did the best heel performance in a match I've seen this year shouldn't be hugging her opponent right afterward.

The fact that it was her last NXT match doesn't move the needle for me. Hug and cry to your heart's content backstage where the cameras aren't rolling.

This was cool with me too, by the way. At worst, he was taking credit for something that it sounds like he deserves some credit for.

Stephanie's appearance annoyed me though, since it was part of her ongoing attempt to rewrite history and act like she deserves credit for the rise of these NXT women.

Meh, hug was whatever. Just Triple H putting his own little extra into the show. "These are "my girls" and I want them to take a curtain call."

Rewatching some stuff now. Pop for Blue Pants was ridiculous. And Corey Graves was awesome during that too.

Sasha/Bayley match was really good second time too. Wonder if Sasha will be able to be such an effective in-ring heel on the main roster(haven't really seen her stuff on Raw/SD yet).

Sasha Banks is all sorts of brilliant.

I'm sad Sasha is probably never going to win the world title.

First time I've actually watched any NXT (Feel free to give my suggestions of stuff on the network to watch) but that women's match was fantastic. I feel like the commentators here actually help tell the story too, but for someone who's never seen Bayley before and never watched any NXT, I was really happy she won. Def gonna be watching more of this.

Cesaro vs Zayn from ArRIVAL last February. Pretty much every woman's match on the specials that started last February. The 4-way ladder match from last September's special. Zayn vs Neville from last December's special.

It was the first time for me also. The introduction video did a great job summarizing Bayley's character and Sasha did an incredible job as a heel--getting the crowd against her despite the fact that they clearly like her (as shown the next two days on WWE events). Everything missing from the Divas Revolution was there on NXT.

So just watched this....my first nxt ppv (or big event, or whatever this is called) and wow women be like watchable. Like the valets for the tag match had more story and charisma than the entire 3x3x3 divas entire buildup on wwe had. And you could sort of tell from the promo that bayley vs banks had been building for a while, but it was a great foundation in core character differences which is always the key to a good story, and a great match and yah **** why was that so good

Yeah, it was amazing that a person who's characterization is limited to the color of her clothing is actually over. But she is.
