That throwing Ciampa in was incredibly dumb. We've seen literally hundreds of examples of people breaking the count by talking to the ref.

Yeah, main event was a complete miss for me. Strong show otherwise.

Wasn't impressed by the main. But I wasn't expecting that much from Johnny/Black and that was easily one of the top 5 matches of the year for all WWE.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Wargames I guess. The first few minutes (before there can be a pinfall) inevitably ends up just being guys doing stuff, and I didn't feel like the story between the two teams was good enough to warrant that type of match. There were some great spots but they were so choreographed.

Gargano/Black is one of those matches where I understand both guys are telling a great story and pulling off all the moves, but the old man part of me gets annoyed when two guys are clearly kicking the **** out of each other with tons of headshots and don't seem to really be selling the effects those moves should have. It's a common indie wrestling trope now and those matches are very popular though, so it's just a problem on my end.

Kairi/Shayna was a little rushed but I love the dynamic with those two. Kairi as the babyest babyface who ever babyfaced and Shayna is legit hateable (as in I get invested and want to see her lose), as are her cronies. I think both will be huge stars on the main roster.

On a similar note, I gather that it's the old man part of me that gets bothered by these spots where a group of wrestlers stands there and waits for the slow-developing attack off the top as well. Like, I don't care if the wrestler does a really impressive corkscrew or moonsault at that point; the spot ****ing sucks because everyone else in the match aggressively broke kayfabe to facilitate it.
