I'm in on this NXT stuff for the push to the WM TO event.

Just turned on two weeks ago. Velveteen Dream is awesome, and that Japanese girl that does the elbow drop... fantastic.

Most recent episode wasn't very good.

AOP vs TM-61 was great. AOP need to be holding the titles or on Raw.

The other two matches were hot garbage.

I can forgive it in a jobber squash, but holy hell that Dain/Black match was ****ing terrible. I don't know what happened, because I like both guys normally.

I like Bianca Belair. She's pretty green, but potential is off the charts. She'll be NXT women's champion some day.

Are the acoustics just that crazy good in that arena or are they adding in sound effects? We audibly heard a finger snap. Dunne and Cole beat the **** out of each other, but mostly Dunne doing the **** beating.

A couple of guys who used to do the LAW/Fight Network weekly recap of NXT are starting up again tomorrow (3/22) on John Pollock and Wai Ting's POST Wrestling podcast network. It will be called upNXT and have it's own feed. Always enjoyed them when they were on the LAW.

NXT has a cool female ref and didn't make a big deal of it.

Steven Regal has the hairline and haircut of the oldest son on Home Improvement in like 1994(?).

Lots of cool hipster female people around. One in an awesome old school WWF style "control room" full of monitors claiming to be watching film (like 80s Bobby heenan).

Enjoying the show, and taking big whiskey pulls during the commercials (still a mystery- commercials for wwe on a pay WWE channel).

Thought:
Selling Lars Sullivan as a monster Vader/Bundy/Bigelow type giant is weird.

Second thought: they book him against a guy the announcers say is 150 pounds less and he looks giant.

Like a dad powerbombing his kid.

Related: big dude went off the top ropes (more like a fall than a jump though) for a diving head butt. Haven't seen that idiot move in forever.

NXT is so much easier viewing than the cable shows.

--Music plays and wrestler does entrance,

--announcers freak out and say we gotta see this!

--cameras cut to a fight in the parking lot between Black and EC3.

--crowd boos mercilessly for reasons I don't understand.

--no mention of whatever match was supposed to happen.
