I'm deeply skeptical about the whole Drew McIntyre thing (don't watch a ton of the weekly show) but I guess I'll give him a shot here.

The buildup to this event was such ****ing garbage. Amazing that they're pulling this off.

When you actually have a meaningful belt, the build to a title match doesn't have to be that strong.

I always sort of hate the execution of the guy putting his leg on the bottom rope at the last second while not otherwise making the slightest attempt at a kickout.

Absolutely detest the ending.

yeah, sadly its the only match I caught. Looks like I missed all the good ones.

Really enjoyed that ppv. I don't follow NXT storylines at all, but it really just feels so much more of an intense and meaningful product than wwe. The matches felt way more organic and real than general choreographed wwe matches.

Had never heard of Ember moon, very impressive, love her look.

re: finish of the main event, I got distracted watching the 9th inning of yanks/sox so it didn't bother me

Do you think they put Gargano in 205 or the main roster when he debuts? That's someone I would have got behind going over Neville instead of this Titus Worldwide nonsense

I agree. I've historically been off/on with the weekly show, but right now it's in a really good spot. Though weirdly I often find the main event/top of the card to be the most boring part of the show. That isn't quite the case now because the Zelina Vega/Almas duo is really good and has a ton of potential.

I'm a huge mark for the women's division and think pretty much everyone getting screen time is great. I'm interested to see where they go post-Asuka, especially with a huge amount of additional talent about to make the roster from the Mae Young Classic.

Is it the small arena that makes everything look so much better in NXT. They actually look and sound like they're legitimately punishing each other. I'll add one more too. Lars Sullivan may be the next Braun Stroman. That guy is more impressive every time I see him. No idea what happened to Drew McIntyre, but he's turned into a beast too. I think I'd like to see Lars vs Drew at some point for the title.

Maybe if they call Drew back up and bring John Morrison back, we can get an encore presentation of this segment.

I’m getting caught up again after falling behind for various reason but I agree with this sentiment.

I’m also shocked someone here agrees with me on Bianca Belair. I thought she was awesome in the MYC and what I have seen of her in NXT has been more of the same. That hair whip schtick she has is fantastic

Bianca Belair has a unique look, is incredibly athletic and seems above average it the ring. I'm expecting really big things from her.

Taynara Conti is more of a speculation. But she's only 22, is a legit judo black belt and is super hot. If she can even be passable in the ring and not piss off the higher ups, she's going to be huge.

We've seen how they've pushed Jinder to the Indian market, and he's not even really Indian. Taynara is legit Brazilian, which seems much more fitting of an emerging market for WWE. Anyone who watched the World Cup, the Olympics, or UFC events has seen how crazy they are about sports. Pro wrestling seems like ripe for an explosion there. I'm expecting Cezar Bononi to be big for the same reason.

I'm shocked nobody has mentioned the most entertaining character they have on the show.

Pretty cool the way Regal announced War Games last night, thought still a bit confused about the Strong/AOP pairing. I know they have to even the numbers, but there seems to be no kayfabe reason for it, unless they explain Ellering's absence by saying he was recruiting him.

A couple weeks ago strong was approached by undisputed era on security cam footage. We don't know what was said but I think the way it will play out is that strong doesn't like what was said so its more that he has a problem with the era than he wants to team with aop
