No (limit) Mercy PPV Tonite - Page 2 - Wrestling -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

My card expired and my WWE network didn't auto-renew. I tried to log on and it said I had to re-subscribe.

I was just about to say "F it, I don't really watch anymore." But Brock/Braun and Roman/Cena means this PPV is almost guaranteed to be worth watching. So I guess I'll be re-subscribing.

Very weird I had that issue tonight too, but I just logged out and rebooted and worked fine.

When I first started watching wrestling as a kid I had never heard of paying to view a single event on TV, we didn't have to pay extra for the PPVs in the UK, they aired on pay monthly channels on Sky.

Anyway, everytime they said "pay per view" I heard "paper view" and had no idea what they were talking about.

But whatever. I don't deserve answers because I don't watch the weekly shows; only listen to Wai and Pollack on the podcast and watch PPVs.

Not that you're necessarily wrong, but it's awfully difficult in general anymore for wrestlers to do great work as heels and not start getting a positive crowd reaction, no matter how they play it. If acting smarky panders to a majority of the audience then that means that the people in attendance at most events are going to be resistant to playing along with classic face/heel dynamics anyway.
