Must see matches - Page 3 - Wrestling -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

As a Bret Hart mark, the two WCW matches with Chris Benoit (the Owen Hart tribute match on Nitro, and a world title tournament final at a PPV later on) might be worth including.

There's a version with Shane doing after-the-fact commentary on it, and his insight was fantastic. It used to be on Youtube but I can't find it anymore.

wasn't including Nitro matches. Lots of people have that match as 5*. I think it's wayyyy overrated but I'd say the majority enjoy it. I didn't include many WCW ppv matches because I've only watched what's been pimped on other forums (which isn't much because their match quality wasn't vg). I'm sure there's a ton out there that I'm missing.

That Shane/Angle match is universally hated by smarks. I love the match. It's brutal and the ending is omg.

Why do smarks hate it? I'd never heard that.

And neither Bret/Benoit match is 5* ... I could see 3.5* to 4* for both. I thought both were semi-iffy for a "must watch" list, but figured I'd throw them out there. Was unaware the list was WWE-specific. My bad.

List has tons of NWA/WCW on it. Pretty sure he was differentiating between Nitro and PPV.

I just feel that the list is lacking WCW big time for post 93 matches. There's probably quite a few missing that should be. There are some Big Dave rated ****1/2+ that I still haven't watched so didn't put on there. Most intriguing of them is Rey vs Kidman vs somebody @ Starrcade 99. Will get to that some day.
