-AJ/Seth was great, handshake at the end was lol though. An AJ heel turn woulda been much better for the show going forward. It would have allowed them to continue this feud and given Raw a credible top heel.
-Mens MITB was great, not sure how I feel about the end (and I like Lesnar) but I get they prob feel handcuffed with the stupid Saudi show coming up.
-Womens MITB less great but still entertaining. Although it's really frustrating how dumb they make the wrestlers in kayfabe. Mandy is alone with the ladder setup when Carmella limps back towards the ring so Mandy...leaves the ring to fight Carmella on the ramp? Makes no sense.
-Agree with SR- Becky should be booked stronger, the end to the Lacey match was just dumb, Becky had already sold Lacey as a tough challenger, she didn't need that, and now Becky just looks silly. It's so dumb I almost think it may have been a botch? Anyway, the Charlotte booking makes far more sense, Charlotte is strong, but Becky would prob have won if Lacey didn't interfere. And then Bayley goes over to a huge pop which accomplishes a few things- 1) gives SD a face for Charlotte to feud with and 2) allows Becky/Lacey to be the focus on Raw.
-Not sure what they're doing with Lars, he can't just beat up the Lucha House Party forever.
-Rey over Joe was stupid. Joe loses far too often. Free him.
-Shane over Miz was even stupider. This was the low moment of the show. Shane can't keep beating him. I don't care that he's not winning fairly, the Miz needs to go over and move on to a better feud.
-Oh wait Roman OVERCOMING THE ODDS was prob the low moment. They're really goin back to the well huh?

Overall exceeded expectations. Lots of solid entertainment and set up good storylines going forward.

Just to update this, Ali's "injury" was just getting his head split open because he took the rope to the face.

...And the other MITB match, he women's, already had its cash-in the same nite.

There's no more rematch clause.

By the way, Carmella being helped to the back on a tweaked leg was a pretty bad way to do the "leave injured" --> "come back heroically" spot. No wrestling fan of any experience is buying that she suffered a legit injury or was actually being eliminated there.

Related, word on the street (twitter) is that the Joe / Rey match was cut way short because of the inadvertent nose break.

Meltzer reported that in his podcast and that they're getting ready for Rey's kid to make his debut as a full time wrestler.

Ugh.

I'm sitting here trying to think of any storylines or characters I have an interest in and I'm blanking.

Didn't watch because Game of Thrones, but I'm seeing that Brock won MITB. I'm assuming that was as terrible as it sounds.

From what I've read elsewhere it was a pretty good PPV, just had some annoying stupid **** on it too.

I just appreciate the over a decade of wrestlers all looking stupid for not just having tried to run in and grab the case themselves since being in the match was irrelevant.
