Yeah, Kyle O'Reilly is a bit of a goofball, but he's pretty great.

He knows who KOR is

Sounds like there was some stuff worth watching, kind of wish I didn’t read results now. Cool to see reaction to Rousey was good, look forward to checking that out.

There were some good matches, but the whole thing felt so long. I thought they did a reasonably good job on a bunch of matches but by the end I was just sick of watching wrestling. Between 2.5 hours last night and 4+ tonight it is just too much for a middle of the road PPV.

The pro move, which I apparently executed quite well, is to not bother with the first 90 minutes.

The last PPV had its only decent match (Miz-Rollins) as the curtain-jerker.

Solid plan. It's not like I can't go back and see it if Big Cass and Daniel Bryan put on a ***** classic.

I really actually thought that both MITB matches were good in their own way, and was really surprised that I was entertained by Rousey/Jax when I knew there was going to be a screwy ending.

Just could not get into Styles/Nakamura until the last 5 minutes. Last Man Standing matches are the worst.

One might even say, on a poker site, that they're the nut worst.

(I'll get me coat.)

I'm in agreement with the LMS hate in general, though I seem to remember fondly that one between Edge and Cena that culminated in Big Show coming out and chokeslamming Cena through an exploding spotlight.

Cena/Umaga LMS was very good imo.

I miss Regal. Can we do a quick swap of Angle for Regal? It'd make things a lot better. I'd like to think they wouldn't kill Regal on RAW anyhow...I know, I think wrong.

I’ve come full circle on him myself. He used to irritate me to no end, and not in a Miz way, and now I look forward to him wrestling on NXT

Before O’Reilly signed with WWE Meltzer would always say he has the potential to be the next Daniel Bryan. Haven’t heard him say it once since he signed though but I always agreed with that.

His style was pretty polarising. He also used to wrestle 2 different styles for ROH and NJPW and would do a lot of MMA inspired stuff that could get pretty boring, he seems to have toned a lot of that down in the WWE though. His best work is probably with Cole so will be good if they split them up and let them go at it.

This seems WAY too strong, but I'll be happy if it proves true.

I missed the shows this weekend due to real life stuff for a rare change, but just wanted to chime in to say Bruce Prichard is so full of **** and I can't get into his stuff because he's so obviously skewing/lying.

It's amazing to me that he's so popular when his gimmick of "I'll never say anything negative or talk about money" is always in place.

It's like some weird pseudo-shoot where the guy doesn't break character.

That being said, I'm sure it's a fun live show; he has personality.

If you don’t listen because “he never says anything negative” then you couldn’t be further from the truth. He has no issues criticizing anyone and everyone when it’s warranted. I will admit that sometimes he doesn’t think it is warranted when obviously it is and he does have his sacred cows, but to claim he doesn’t say anything negative is just wrong.

If you also think it’s just a show where Bruce just proclaims how great everything was that is also wrong. He gets challenged on the regular by Conrad, and it does get heated at times. The Wrestlemania 19 show comes to mind right away.

But I would think that for people like us who want the behind the scenes stories, this podcast does exactly that. Sure his stories aren’t 100% accurate, but for stuff that happened 25-30 years ago, whose stories are. I think LKJ put it best by saying Bruce’s stories are based on a true story. If you can get past that, then it’s highly entertaining. It’s not always funny, if you want that, go with Schiavone’s podcast. And don’t sleep on Bischoff’s podcast either. He goes in hard on anyone and everyone and doesn’t shy about talking about money. His recall isn’t the best though, but it’s still a very good show too.

Nobody's, but Prichard really has Hogan-level credibility to me.

The way you're phrasing it here makes it seem as though he's just getting some details wrong rather than spinning stories beyond what most would. Sheik Tugboat in the main event of WrestleMania VII is pretty classic though.

Well as I stated he does get challenged when he tries to spin something, I was just pointing out that it’s nothing like Feldman portrayed the show to be, that’s all. Listen, don’t listen, I get nothing either way, so I don’t care.

Yeah, I haven't listened to enough to have an opinion as to his level of positivity. I heard him on Cornette's show defending the Red Rooster gimmick as a good, serious idea that Terry Taylor just failed with, and I threw up my hands in despair.

I get that you're not just giving him a blanket free pass against all criticism.

I make it a point to check out Bruce's podcast every week but there are some weeks that he feels so fos that I turn it off. Bruce has mentioned on the pod multiple times that what he does is for entertainment and not everything will be the truth.

His never conceding when challenged by facts is what turns me off about him but I suppose that's the entertainment part.

They were better when they teamed as Future Shock in 2011/12. Kyle wasn't a pretend MMA fighter and Cole didn't suck.

Yeah I love a good wrestling story and expect most wrestlers to bend the truth these days but agree Bruce is Hogan level bad to the point where I just can’t listen. If Melzter is the click bait king of current news then Pritchard is the king of click bait shooting.
