Yeah I'm really looking forward to next week. I like to binge watch shows while working on the second monitor but I think I'm just going to go week to week this season. I love how Mil just sits there the whole ep.

Spoiler:
I don't think he was booked that week within the context of the show. He's still a beast although I guess we're not getting another title match for a while.

So Cornette unsurprisingly doesn't get it.

It's not a wrestling show Jim.

Wasn't expecting that debut at all.

Meltzer was talking to Cornette about Lucha Underground and said the average viewer age is over 50!? I thought this show would attract kids too but I guess not.

Cornette cut a longer promo on LU this week on Cornette Experience. Entertaining if you enjoyed his initial reaction to it posted above.

Killshot vs Mundo was great, really enjoyed it.

Still can't believe the WWE let Cage go. He looks like a walking Vince McMahon erection and can go like a cruiserweight.

It's cool to see someone finally give PJ Black's Darewolf gimmick a run, I'm glad he didn't go over Mack though because Mack is awesome.

Puma vs Pentagon is going to be such a sick feud.

Great match between these two on the most recent episode.

If this was WWE, they'd be trading wins back and wins back and forth on Raw and Smackdown until both characters are ruined.

Here they just leave me wanting more.

Anyone else still watching this? This week's episode was incredible.

Why is Cage not a huge deal?

He's still pretty protected. I'd strap him with the GOTG title if I were booking the next few months.

I'm finally getting caught up on Lucha Underground, and I'm really digging the storytelling. The one thing I really like is how Mil Muertes is just sitting on his throne overlooking everything. I just wish the wrestlers in the ring wouldn't pay as much attention to him. I fear they are going it into Lucha Underground's version of the Wrestlemania sign

Just got caught up on S2 myself and it's been great. I also love Mil just sitting there the whole time, adds a really cool and eerie feel to it.

The crazy part is that the WWE had him under contract and let him go. After that he went to the indies and became just as much a beast in the ring as he is physically. I'd be really surprised if he wasn't back on their radar, he's a walking wet dream for Vince.

Really liked Aztec Warfare 2.

Spoilers for people that haven't gotten to that part yet:
Spoiler:
I was really worried that the match would be basically "One vs. All" with Fenix taking Roman's place, but they really managed to distribute the attention out amongst all the wrestlers.

Also it was really smart to get rid of the bigger guys (Mil/Cage) before the Matanza debut.

I've seen lots of people call AW five stars. It almost makes me want to watch I'm at least not clicking the spoiler because I may watch.

Five stars is a bit overboard. But it's booked really well and certainly worth watching. I'd recommend catching up with the previous episodes though.

They do. Coincidentally, they run this L.A. Tourism commercial on Hulu, and one of the things the couple does during their day is go to a LU taping.

2p2 is the woat format for TRs, 3rd time is the charm maybe

Melissa Santos is a good friend of mine and she was kind enough to get me 2 VIP passes for this taping. After we check in we are directed to a really cool VIP area with food and drinks where various performers would dip in and out of for the next hour or so.

The crowd is unlike anything I've ever seen. Imagine full sail except they arent trying to put themselves over at every chance they get. Everyone is super over and it makes for an unreal atmosphere for great matches (which there were plenty)

I don't want to go into too much detail here because there is literally nothing WRT spoilers on the internet yet for S3 so I'll just comment on a few wrestlers who really impressed me.

Pentagon Jr is SCSA levels of over. Dude stands out as by far the most over luchador on the roster. Dude was in the last match of a 5 hr taping and the crowd went absolutely insane.

Puma/Ricochet is an incredible performer at hitting incredibly difficult spots. It boggles the mind how the WWE hasn't tried to snap him up yet.

Cage is a ****ing machine. Dude had an absolutely brutal hoss fight where he took a powerbomb on the outside and a full-speed spill into 5 rows of folding chairs.

Seeing an in-shape RMJ in a small room was ****ing delightful.

Johnny Mundo is amazing, dude was drawing absolutely nuclear heat from the crowd during his spots. It's hard to believe this was the same guy who was in the WWE.

Dario Cueto is amazing and has a new T Shirt which i bought at the merch stand. Gotta support the product yo.

Marty the Moth is one of the best I've ever seen at wrestling as his character. Dude was super creepy and not in a boogieman way like Groundhog Bray.

Tonight the part of Drogo will be played by Sin Cara, dude ****ed up like 4 different spots and broke his opponents nose with a badly placed kick.

All I can say is, if you have the chance to go to one of these or they decide they can make money touring. GO IMMIDIATELY. This was easily the most fun I've ever had at a live wrestling event.

Now to see if Melissa can be so kind as to hook it up with Ultima Lucha 3 taping passes.
