Curtain-jerking with it makes sense even without a restart, since there's a title match later that they would want to have a MITB winner looming over, plus they surely want to space the MITB matches out a bit.

It does for sure, I said earlier it makes sense to get rid of 1 MITB tonight since carrying 2 on a show seems overkill, but that ending is just so LOLbad for what they built up, had a big intro video and everything.

I'd like for you to be right about the restart, but there's just not much sign of it. If they don't announce something like that by the start of the next match, it's very likely not happening.

Yeah, once the interview was Lana and not GM, seems unlikely. Should've at least had him carry her up the ladder and have her grab the briefcase or something
