As they have released the bracket for this years King Of The Ring tournament, with the final being held at clash of champions on the 15th September, I thought it would be nice to see how people think it's going to pan out.

My prediction is that one of the wrestlers in the finals gets injured and is replaced by Shane who becomes your new King of the Ring.

This bracket makes a lot of sense to me. I feel like the Ricochet/Drew match is a big one and whoever takes that likely comes out of that half. Since KOTR is such a heel gimmick, Drew seems like a natural fit.

The other guy I thought of was Andrade, just because he's with Charlotte and it would be king/queen. But they haven't done anything with that relationship on TV so it seems kind of unlikely.

Andrade was someone I thought could do well but the other side of the bracket is too weak with faces unless Riccochet beats Drew and it's those two in the final. I also don't think the gimmick really works as well with someone who can't cut regular promos.

I always thought the winner of this should get a title shot at a major non-WM PPV, as to make it less mandatory that a heel wins

I got Joe v Cesaro wrong but I think that was just a badly booked bracket with none of them really needing to take a loss to the other and they can both play the same role in the next round.

Why does Corbin need more annoying heel heat? This should be a springboard for someone, and he's already main-evented and lost 3 PPVs for the title this year. They clearly aren't putting him over Seth, so him winning would be the worst waste of this since Billy Gunn

This is what should happen. What I fear with this is that the winner (if it's a heal) will be saddled with the stupid King gimmick for a year or so.
