I basically never watch the weekly TV anymore - I can't remember the last time I have - so my viewing is mostly tuning in on PPV nights and hoping that it's good. Then I forget about most of what happened by the next morning.

Honestly, I didn't even realize he was feuding with Orton for four months. I would just see him come out, then I would be bored and wait for the next match, and then rinse and repeat at the next PPV. Obviously this means I haven't seen all material he has produced for TV, and a person could contend I can't make a fair judgment based on that incomplete information, but unless anyone thinks he's been considerably better on weekly TV than on PPV, it almost seems like my method would do him some favors if anything. I was ready for him to be coming into his own now, I think mostly on account of him growing a beard, but the beard isn't delivering all by itself.
