Hogan vs Muta in a match you'll never watch.
Given the chance I'd say Hogan would've been a better wrestler than Rock but Vince didn't want a wrestler.
I watched this just now, Chargers. Incidentally I'm wondering why the heck Hogan had the WWF title belt with him since he wasn't the champion on 3/5/93. He didn't win it back until April.
Anyway, definitely better ringwork from him there. It does look like he could have performed pretty capably if not held back by Vince's orders. I'm glad to have finally gotten to see some proof of this, since I've heard "Hogan was better in Japan" for years. I don't think it elevates his standing too terribly much for purposes of this contest because such a vast majority of his ringwork was his American stuff, but I suppose every bit helps.
I'm interested to see how the votes break down between Hogan and Flair, if that's one of the tournament semifinals. I have a leaning on how I'll vote but I'm not fully decided.
