Greatest Moments/Angles Draft Interest Thread - Wrestling -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Wanted to do a draft picking the best angels of all time or the best individual moments of all time in wrestling. At first I thought angles may be better because it encompasses most of the great moments within them, but not always. Some great moments are from individual matches that didn't have any kind of amazing underlying angle.

I think I prefer doing an angle draft, but I could go with either one. If we can get eight people in for either one then let's do this.

I think greatest moments is better because it encompasses tons of material and if the forum thinks there's enough material left to do a greatest angles draft then we should do that as well.

put me down for in greatest moments and undecided for angles.

That's a good movie. It became better to me after 10 years passed and I became far more dark and cynical.

Count me in. I may orient my picks toward *personal favorites* that meant the most to me as a wrestling fan than more objective, consensus type picks, though the categories aren't mutually exclusive.

This is sort of as much as we ever get for drafts anymore so I have a feeling this could be it, but I'll give it a few more hours then rand. Then maybe leave an opening in place where late entries can fill spots #9 and #10 if people want to join while the first round is still in progress.

Can you make it clear what is and isn't eligible. I'm not entirely sure what "greatest moments" encompasses. Like I'm pretty sure entire matches aren't eligible but not certain.

Yeah that's a tough thing to define. But I've sat here this morning trying to jot a few ideas down for a draft board and in almost no case was it a whole match. It's individual spots and stuff. I can sort of think of a couple of exceptions that I can argue for as being awesome moments that sort of do encompass entire matches though, so I'm a little blurry on how to make a bright-line rule for this.

The incredibly unclear way I'd put it is: a whole match isn't a moment unless on rare occasion it is. Usually you're looking at individual spots, individual promos, individual entrances/celebrations/pops.
