There are also 4 title matches as Braun Strowman battles Brock Lesnar for the vacant Universal Championship, Samoa Joe challenges AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, The Bar defend the tag titles against The New Day, and on the pre-show Shinsuke Nakamura defends his US title against Rusev.

Oh and Hulk Hogan got fired a few years ago for being a racist but since that's all the rage in Parts Unknown he's apparently hosting the show. Women aren't quite as welcome though so all you Ronda Rousey fans will have to wait for another day.

Because of personal issues, I have not watched one second of any kind of wrestling for about 2 months. I have been keeping up through podcasts and what little I read here and on Reddit. I got the notification for the Pre Show, so at about 30 minutes in a fire it up and I see Nakamura vs Rusev. On the pre show. Of a glorified house show. I just turned it off very disappointed.

Then I just got a notification that Hulk Hogan mad a “surprise” return at this show. Again, my wrestling exposure for the last two months has been non spoiler type podcasts and a couple of forums. If I knew he was showing up at this show, how the hell was it a surprise?

This has to be the most pointless tournament ever, and will be taking up most of the show. I'm kinda excited to see HBK wrestle though tbh even though it's an awful match for him to make his return in, and Braun/Brock should be good, interested to see if they strap Braun. Feels like there's a chance we have a non-finish in that one though.

The one good thing about this show being in parts unknown is that we'll probably be spared a you still got it chant before HBK has even executed a move.

Yea, it's just made up so they can have a bunch of matches without having to build up any new rivalry and it's really obvious. All they really have of interest for the whole show is HBKs return which is mildly interesting, but hardly worth a ppv on its own.

If I were the SA princes who've paid for this, I'd be pretty annoyed that they're putting so little effort into this show, but I guess at this point they have to be glad for anyone greedy enough to visit them.

Did they just spoil the Universal Title match with that promo? Seemed to be advertising Braun/AJ for Survivor Series.

Only had half an eye on this Miz-Mysterio-match so far, but this seems like the best of the night so far. A low bar, but still pretty good.
