Putting somebody likeable like Kofi over DB there was a great decision, helps move those fence sitters off the DB train.

I mean, the predictable nature of the near-falls kill the execution at this point, they're a victim of their own crappy finisher-kickout booking, but I still like this type of storytelling in a vacuum.

Can't tell if this was just a gold watch for Kofi or if they're going to use the momentum from this to give him a singles push.

Agreed, really nice push/match for someone nearing the end of his career. hope he gets a singles push, but either way was great for him and was very surprisingly good/saved that match.

Well we can safely say that testing the waters of a Kofi wwe title program was a roaring success. Bryan vs Kofi should be the WWE title match at mania.
