It's the one night a year when WWE gets extreme. How extreme? There are three (3) gimmick matches that should lead to a moderate amount of family-friendly mayhem.

The card is actually very stacked on paper and this could be a fun show if it isn't 9 hours long.

1) Twelve is far too many matches, especially considering there was a PPV 3 weeks ago.

2) Speaking of that, there are way too many rematches or variations of rematches on this card.

3) I had legitimately forgotten who the Intercontinental Champion was.

Those are some big pre-show matches.

There's actually quite a bit I'm interested in here.
Kofi/Joe (possible Brock cash-in?)
Women's title (Sasha return?)
Richochet/AJ will be good.
Stroman/Lashley has the potential to be a giant car crash.
Black/Cesaro has potential to be one of the better matches tonight.

I'll at least turn this on for background noise. Hopefully some things on the show grab me.

Missed the pre-show, didn't realise it started at 12.

They took the title off Finn lol.

I'm really hoping they let Corbin and Evans win the titles.

Corbin and Evans winning would be hilarious. It would shock me more than Brock beating The Undertaker. Vince is a depraved man who enjoys tormenting the fans, so you know he's at least considering it.

I think people are actually sleeping on that match a bit, just because it's extreme rules so it'll have a bunch of fun weapons spots and won't take itself too seriously.

6 foot 10 undertaker looks about half an inch taller than Drew.

edit - I thought that was a good match, however, I think if Drew would have got his finisher off at the end to pin taker it would have been better.

That wasn't bad, for what it was. If the rumor has been Drew vs. Taker for SummerSlam though, I don't get how that set it up. Felt very much like a blowoff.

I liked that match. Undertaker is the one guy who should be allowed to no-sell finishers like that. He also looked surprisingly good -- working in short spurts does a lot for him at this stage.

I also maintain that Shane is a good heel. The crowd wanted to see him get his ass beat and we even had "let's go Roman" chants in Philly.

Well that was an awful promo.

Yesterday I downloaded that WWE Universe game that they were just advertising. It's pretty fun.

Forgot they switched to 4 hour ppvs and started at 7. In for now but won't catch the end

That was a great finish. It actually felt natural and not contrived.

My attention has been in and out, but it seems like a decent show so far.

Bobby Lashley in a LMS match seems like a piss break though.

It's not extreme until new jack is diving off the upper deck.

How do they come up with bailey over bliss?

The "bury him with the table" thing was great. Two monsters kicking the **** out of each other.

And then they ruined it with some random foam pit in the crowd. all out on that finish.

Yeah that was far better than "piss break." Still hate the structure of LMS matches, but I enjoyed that.

There is a definite appeal to hoss fights and it's something that is lacking in AEW atm. Braun is definitely in his element in those sorts of matches.

It's been a really good PPV so far, really enjoyed that match.

Rico's got some crazy moves, thats for sure. The bo jackson run up was amazing. The crowd doesn't seem into this because AJ is over and they are trying this heel turn bs.
