WWE and Christian both teasing his return tonight via Twitter. How could they fit him into this show?

Christian stomping Santino seems the logical way to do it if he isnt in a match with Sheamus they throw on the card.

Christian returning and getting a surprise win setting up him vs Sheamus at Mania seems a lot more likely than Barrett winning. With that said I still think Bryan's 95% to win.

Christian going over and facing Sheamus is something i could probably get behind.

This would be the right way to book it, but this is way too obvious. Surely the writers will do some kind of swerve that makes no sense at all.

Bryan loses then goes full Edge taking a queue from Christian, gets himself in the Raw Chamber, wins, then sets up a triple threat between the three best in the worlds ftw.

I'm thinking the fact we all pretty much have NFI what's going to happen tonight could lead to a pretty decent PPV.

Little worried by the fact the Orton/Barrett feud seems to be well and truly over - ending it before WM was ridic dumb but it also means that they're almost certain to shoehorn Orton into the WHC match at WM somehow.

I do really like the idea of Christian taking out Santino though, think that's a real possibility, although it will AIDS up the chamber's face/heel ratio.

I will MTFO for a Barrett WHC win FWIW.

I'll be at the show tonight, hoping there isn't too much blueboying going on. I'd mark out pretty hard for a Christian return/win.

I'm like 6 rows back from the ring on a corner section, I'll take plenty of video/pics to share with you all!

Yesssss, you need a sign of "blueboyaids" to hold up whenever things get terribad. Like when Santino wins the WHC and becomes a triple crown winner to megatilt the IWC and swerve us all for literally no reason.

omg thissssssssssssssss
i never even considered it but it would fit really well. Before he hurt his ankle he was quasi-feuding with Sheamus.

Has anyone pinned Sheamus clean since Christian did it on Smackdown forever ago in the match right before Orton punted him? The finish was cool where Christian and Sheamus were up top and Christian jumped off backwards and bashed Sheamus' face into the ring post.

I was thinking there wasnt any way it was, but I cannot think of it ...

I haven't ever seen an EC match. I started watching WWE again around last year's WM after not watching for several years. Somehow I missed some of the early ones and then I wasn't watching at all when it was a more common thing.

Whole concept seems stupid to me. It's like they wanted to combine elements of the Royal Rumble and Hell in a Cell into one big mess. And I know this was discussed before, but it really makes the Rumble meaningless when (1) this is for the belt while the Rumble was only for a match and (2) there were really only about five non-joke entrants in the Rumble that believably had a chance anyway so what was the point. They should eliminate the HIAC PPV and put this one in its place and not have a PPV between RR and WM and maybe actually build some storylines that make people care and want to buy WM. January through early April could be three months of the year where we actually get old-school drawn out feuds that they let build slowly. Of course the current writers probably couldn't pull it off so we'd end up getting the WM main event for free on Raw four times between RR and WM.

I guess I'm just a hater. I'll be creeking tonight even though I think this PPV will blow. Apparently there was an EC match involving Big Show, Bobby Lashley, Test, and Hardcore Holly once, so I guess it can't possibly be that bad.

The one with Lashley and Big Slow was pretty good actually. Pure garbage as it was "ECW style" but it was entertaining enough way to kill 25 min.

Fwiw i really like the EC concept, though i think they could better use it in the dead spot between WM and Summerslam but generally speaking RR then EC then WM is a great run of 3 PPVs that always bring something worth seeing.

Bryan is already >>>> at his heel gimmick and getting better than Christian was. Christian just getting a spot in the chamber is enough. Him winning the world title is overkill imo

Considering that Henry is still injured and they wanted to rush his return, maybe Christian coming back will alleviate that rush and he will be the one to attack Santino.

I would much rather see Khali get attacked and have someone take his place rather than Santino's. SD is really lacking an over face in this match, Santino is the only one.

Couldnt we possibly get a double return of del rio and xian. Del rio returns with a promo of how hes back and wants back the title boom xian music hits and we have our 5th match of the night.

iono if it matters but
Spoiler:
Del rio returned at a house show last week and arm wrestled shemus

I don't think Del Rio is close to coming back. He completely tore his groin. As much as he says he's ready to go, he only got hurt on December 19th, and generally speaking a full-blown groin tear is roughly a 5 month recovery.

I mean, I hope I'm wrong and the injury wasn't as bad as reported, but I don't think so. Also, I do want him back with a bit of a tweaked gimmick, of course.

It wouldnt be entirely unheard of to take an injury that would be 5 months and make it in much less time as they get some sick good medical care, but 5 down to 2 months is pretty extreme.

There is literally zero chance we will see ADR vs Christian though. Both are heels and they werent just not feuding but they were literally allies when they got injured.
