I wonder if the Johnny Ace thing is leading to a stable vs. stable tag match at WM for control of Smackdown. The problem is I have no idea who would be on Teddy Long's team.

This is a good idea.

Perhaps Drew McIntyre completes the face turn and fights on Teddy Long's team?

? This would be done at Wrestlemania if it happens, and I think Cena already has a match booked.

This. McIntyre is thankful for all the chances Teddy has given him, and Teddy says "Aight. Don't let me down, playa."

Then he either completes the face turn and saves Teddy, or goes full heel and walks out.

That would be fine, they will have to resolve Bryan/Show at one of the upcoming Smackdowns though. No way that feud is over after the way Show got eliminated in the Chamber.

This was a terrible terrible ppv. Everything but Ace' promo and SD EC after Bryan got in the match was bad to awful.

This was my immediate thougth after watching the ppv. But the match will be for control over both brands since Long said he wanted to control Raw too. It obv depends on the 3 heels returning to the ring in time. And they could face Orton/Santino/McIntyre/Kingston.

I tend to fall in line with this thinking. His mic work isnt outstanding but its certainly passable and i still remember that boomdrop spot to Orton through a table. I think he is in a creative rut and i dont know if he will break out beyond that but i would get behind him getting a bit of a push in 2012, a draft to Smackdown and a feud with Cody for the IC title would do him a world of good.

Somewhere the match stepped up and became good.
I disagree that Show shouldnt have started. As i said during the ppv they are telling a very clear very good story here however the actual execution of it sucked cos there just wasnt anything in there that was memorable. Khali proved he was a terrible choice and if they booked for more action and included someone better than Khali who could have worked a few decent spots then it would have worked out way better.

Santino was fine overall, though he was booked stronger than he should have been given how he has been booked before. Him hulking up in the LaBell that gets guys like Kofi to insta tap out was pretty ridic.

Oh and it was no coincidence that the match picked up when Bryan was let out of the cell. Not necessarily just cos he made a big impact but also because they booked it as a time waste until Big Show broke into his cell which was just poor booking. No wonder the crowd was dead and chanted boring a fair amount.

nah. it's not happening at WM. needs more time to develop than that

especially considering if these guys were wrestling at WM it'd probably be in MITB

Has anybody yet figured out why in the **** the Kane/Cena match had none of the elements that led up to the Kane/Cena match?

They had to blow it off so they could focus on the Cena/Rock fued. Rock is going to be on almost every Raw up until Wrestlemania, not counting this Raw.

Tonight's Raw has Undertaker booked on it, so its the HHH and Friends 2.0 show probably, lol.

If Rock is confirmed not on then we will get some kind of resolution to Kane and Cena even if its just as simple as Kane is like "yeah, now youre ready and my masterful plan worked" then Cena will be all like "well i dont agree with what you did but i respect your ability to do it and i refuse to hate you" and then the crowd will be all like

I was ok with santino hulking up in the LLock because they were telling the story of the underdog outperforming his ability when faced with his one chance at greatness.

Yeah, agreed with 12ressi. It was the best storytelling to let people believe in the big underdog story for an extra 10 seconds.

In theory i agree, but id have tweaked the booking slightly to have Santino hulk out of a lesser submission such as a chickenwing crossface or dragon sleeper, then get countered into the LaBell as he goes for a cobra then tap pretty quickly. It gets the hulk up for him being hungry for it but it keeps the LaBell looking really strong.

If i were writing the shows id start a story where all the other divas bitch about Eve behind her back then act all fake or divertive when she is around, then eventually have K2 address how they think she is just a phony bitch and Ryder deserved better. I think they have an awesome shot of getting Eve over heel with her being the girl who rejected the nice guy for the popular guy despite Ryder getting nearly murdered on multiple occasions to try and save her and how she was into him when he was a winner with the US title but sandwiching that she just wanted to be friends, really playing her up as a gold digger.

Its really hard getting a woman over heel but this is the perfect opportunity to do so and i hope they leap all over it.
