Incidentally, I really think Elimination Chambers should have a rule where the champion ALWAYS enters last. In kayfabe they should be giving a championship advantage whenever possible, since that has always been at the foundation of title matches.

At the time, WM 17 was the most profitable WM of all time (I believe a few of the modern WM's have since beaten it). I used to read Meltzer's newsletter. I recall him saying at the time that Austin & Rock received bonuses of around $2 million each for the show. I recall him saying Hogan and Rock got slightly bigger bonuses at WM 18, but I have a hard time believing anybody in any of the modern shows (despite being bigger) got paid more than that for their match (wouldn't be surprised if Rock did this year).

Randy Orton was injured last night in his match with Big Show. No details are available, but it appears he will be out of this Sunday's PPV and replaced by Mark Henry, who is being called back early due to depth issues.
Quote:
The report we just got is that Randy Orton suffered a concussion Monday and would not be able to be cleared by Sunday, so he was pulled off this Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber PPV.

Rock will probably get paid more for Wrestlemania this year than any wrestler has ever been paid for one match before.

RAW and SD have been relatively good considering the amount of talent theyve had on the shelf of late

I wonder how Orton being out will change the booking of the E.C. match. Not much I would bet, I kinda thought Bryan was going to retain before the Orton injury. Henry, Show, and Khali all in one match is going to hurt the actual wrestling in the match, they better just have Bryan, Cody, and Barrett be in for a while.

So Orton is hurt, so the smackdown match features big show mark henry and khali....... what a big slow pile of aids.

How do you figure? Has Bryan even pinned anybody since becoming champion? He can't exactly win the EC by count out.

Be really surprised if he didn't. I'm more curious what Cena will make in relation to what Rock gets?

He beat Cody a few weeks ago and won the cage match at the Royal Rumble. I guess Barrett could win but they just had him job to Orton last week, it would be kinda weird to put the belt on him right after a loss, Khali is never going to win, Henry wasn't even supposed to be in the match so he isn't going to win, Cody has had zero WHC matches so I don't see his first being at Wrestlemania, Big Show has a slim chance of winning but I just don't see them going with Sheamus/Big Show at Mania. I actually see Bryan making one of the "giants" tap out for the win.

Daniel Bryan is one of the best wrestlers of our generation. So, STFU he will soon be used properly in the WWE, and ten years from now we will be talking about all the epic Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler matches.

Lets be real for a second. Barrett isn't even that great of a worker. He's ****in Austin Aries compared to Khali, but in reality he's average.

+! I like Sheamus but I really wish they would have had Orton win the rumble. Don't flame me but I think Orton/Bryan at Mania would be a better match than Punk/Y2J and Punk and Jericho are two of my top three favorite wrestlers ever.

how about they just abolish this title, and have just the one world champion; this title annoys the **** outta me.

Bryan vs. Punk vs. Jericho for the re unification of the Undisputed Title that Jericho first won. Makes so much poetic sense and it would be such an epic match that it could never happen.

I would seriously pay twice the cost of a normal ppv to see that match. It could honestly be one of the best matches of all time.

To think, Punk would be without question the weakest worker in that match.

Too bad that leaves out Sheamus

So bryan retains and y2j wins. Seems way too predictable, maybe vince will last minute book khali and kofi

I still think WWE should hire me as a booker.

Maybe I could convince some local Chaldean (rich middle eastern minority) in Detroit to start up an epic indy promotion and give me the book. We'll get the first ever Tag Team Iron Man Match with the American Wolves vs. The Motor City Machineguns.

If they got proper time, 30-40 min. It would go down as the best match of this decade 100 percent.

Only just read this thread so a bit late but WTF? There are seriously people who don't like Daniel Bryan? Really? I guess there will never be anything which the whole internet wrestling world agrees on.

I think Barrett is totally awesome too fwiw, but I may be biased on that one by being English.

Me two. I guess Henry, ADR, and Christian are too hurt to compete. Still it's a terrible choice, Jidner Mahal would have even been better.
