DDP doing some great things. DDP doing some great things.

I saw Jake tweet that somebody ran a report without contacting them. Pretty sure they are still working on doing all of the calls and such.

People donated months ago and they all spend a lot of time tweeting nonsense, but can't find the time to make a simple 1 minute call etc?

It stinks to me, and obviously this has been outed they are gonna say they are still working on it.

You have the right to believe what you want. I'm going to continue to believe that they are on the up and up.

This article by Ryan Clark "broke" at 12:59 am on November 14th.

http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/2...over-fans?pg=1

Hall tweeted this at 1:38 pm on Nov 12....

https://twitter.com/SCOTTHALLNWO/sta...77136013668352

and has posted many similar tweets before this. This proves to me that they have been working on it even before the story "broke".

They both have hundreds of calls and Skype sessions that they are committed to. The response was overwhelming, so if they are guilty of anything, it is of making their estimated delivery date too soon.

I have personally been to the crib, and everything about it and all three of these guys seems very genuine to me.

When she responds to me, I'll post in the "DDP doing great things" thread so that I don't sidetrack this thread any further. Feel free to PM me any specific questions.
This is what she said....

"About the yoga, I would say that DDP emphasizes "dynamic resistance" more often, whereas regular yoga tends to be a bit more static. I guess another way of saying that would be that regular yoga focuses on still isometric contractions to strengthen, whereas DDP does muscle contraction exercise with more movement involved....however, I think they're pretty similar, actually. The reason why I like it is because I feel like all of his videos have good challenges and you can choose different workout lengths and workouts to focus on certain parts of the body. One other way you could say they differ is that DDP really simplifies yoga for the beginner...pose names are changed and he offers lots of modification options."

Thanks for the info.

I'm gonna check it out some time. Not sure if Yoga could work for me, but I am interesting in giving it a try.

Jake Roberts has leg cancer:

What a kick in the balls. Guy does all he can to change his body and mind for the healthier and turn his whole life around and then the cancer hits.

Terrible. All the best to Jake.

Got the Yoga program. First day in basically an intro to the moves. Did the first real beginner workout (Energy). Thought I was gonna be a tough guy and blast through it. Halfway through (10 min mark) I was doing the modified positions with the female demonstrator and barely made it through without pausing.

Thought I was in decent shape relative to my age. Learned that it's probably just cause everyone I hang out with is in catastrophic shape in comparison.

Glad for those days off in between right now.

Glad somebody else is doing it. Did you get a heart-rate monitor? It's amazing how high your heart-rate can get just by engaging your muscles while standing in place. I've had it for over a year and still haven't attempted the hardest one (Double Black Diamond).

Funny you should ask that. They were out of stock on the site. Didn't think it was that big a deal, but the thing is I've been dealing with some health issues and a lot of stress stemming from it, which is the reason I started doing this in the first place. While exercise is good, docs said I should do it in moderation at least at first because of how stress hyper-stimulated my body has been.

Well, eff me for not getting the heart monitor because I was up all night with what I'm sure were the after effects of over doing it. Picked up a $100 heart monitor today on Amazon for $25 (one of their daily lightning deals) and it'll probably be smart to pay attention to it for a while.

Vince should give DDP a cheque for $1,000,000 IMO. Every time he takes a washed up / alcoholic / drug addict / crippled / suicidal ex-wrestler and rehabilitates them he's doing the WWE a huge favour publicity-wise.

great thread, and im just finding out about this. (thought jake was ddp's only guy based on hof ceremony)

grunching here, if it's been asked sorry..

has the wwe or ddp (+ the house mates) considered making some kind of reality series out of this? i dont mean like celebrity rehab where a bunch of has-beens embarrass themselves and their families. more of an uplifting/inspiring theme. give the guys a chance to make a few dollars as well.

WWE probably doesn't want a bunch of press about a ton of their former wrestlers having substance abuse issues either.

He does have a documentary filmmaker (Steve Yu) that is constantly filming. They will probably be winding down with both "The Resurrection of Jake Roberts" and Scott Hall's (I think it's "Rebuilding the Bad Guy" or something like that) after their induction.

I think he did pitch something to Oprah's network a while back, but it didn't work out. He was on Carnie Wilson's reality show as her guru for at least one episode.

I meant to mention this for all of those that have started it. If you got the Max Pack, on Disc 3, there is a short little workout called "Wake Up" -- it's only about 10 minutes, and it's a great way to get your blood circulating in the morning.

Something else that really helped me with my form, even after doing it for a year, were a few videos that DDP's adopted daughter, Brittany, put on Youtube. They are also very nice to look at

Here they are:

Spoon -- I'm just right down the road in Advance.

I'm lucky if I can make it to the TV to put the DVD in as soon as I wake up in the morning. Need at least an hour before I can get into it. Kinda pissed cause I was through the first 2 weeks and looking forward to getting into some of the other workouts when I was hit with an infection that knocked me on my ass for 2 weeks. Feel like I almost have to start over now.

I know the feeling -- I've been sick or out of town for the last 3 weeks. I'm probably gonna start back with Energy again tonight.

In regards to "Wake Up," you don't really engage in it, so you should be able to do it without being loosened up. He actually starts it off laying in bed.
