"About the yoga, I would say that DDP emphasizes "dynamic resistance" more often, whereas regular yoga tends to be a bit more static. I guess another way of saying that would be that regular yoga focuses on still isometric contractions to strengthen, whereas DDP does muscle contraction exercise with more movement involved....however, I think they're pretty similar, actually. The reason why I like it is because I feel like all of his videos have good challenges and you can choose different workout lengths and workouts to focus on certain parts of the body. One other way you could say they differ is that DDP really simplifies yoga for the beginner...pose names are changed and he offers lots of modification options."
