I was extremely salty about the finish for a few seconds, but there's definitely some logic to it. Charlotte is stale on the main roster and gets a whole new slate of opponents in NXT. Rhea is a mega star and can be moved to Raw or SD to get the most eyeballs on her possible. She might take the belt off Becky.

I hadn't thought of it that way but that all makes a lot of sense.

the character of "my dad was really good at this so you should cheer me too" has a limited shelf life and it ran out like two years ago

please note im referencing the character having no real personality other than "WOOO" and not her actual talent, which is good.

To be fair though she is by far the best women's wrestler in the world and it's not even close.

Thought the match was great, ref was annoying, went a little long and obviously the no crowd hurts everything but the best match of Mania by a mile so far and probably the best women's match this year at least.

Black/Lashley I thought was good but once again a very strange ending but I assume there is more story to it that I haven't seen.

Obviously a kitten is drowned every time Charlotte does the cringey "woo" bullshit, but her character staleness doesn't seem to significantly inhibit my ability to enjoy her matches.

Lack of crowd really hurt that match. People were into this storyline and I think would have been booing and popping at the right moments.

ive got the same issue getting into her matches that i got during supercena and superreigns. you know before its over shes going to win or someone else is going to take the loss if its multiperson.

I really miss the crowd for some of these. I think mandys music would have gotten a massive pop as would the low blow and kiss at the end. Fun payoff to the story though.

I keep buying that her wins aren't inevitable, perhaps owing to me just paying less attention to the product. It would definitely kill my enjoyment if I was saddled with the same feeling that I already knew the result.

Even in those cases when the workers can salvage something good out of a LMS match, there's no part of me that believes that they wouldn't have better off with almost any other gimmick match or no gimmick at all.

It's impossible to please wrestling fans. Lots of hate on this for being too long but you also got the same people hating on returning wrestlers that wrestle for 8 minutes (or 2 minutes if you're goldberg)
