THe only chance I gave Froch was to go in there and try to rough up Ward and catch him with something, staying back and trying to box against the much speedier and much better technical fighter Ward is just dumb.

Madness that Froch is trying to beat him with single shots.

Ward is so slick ,Froch needs to throw punches in bunches.

Ward has been put down before ,but in saying that he has not lost since he was 12 years old!(That's mental by the way)

Ward beat him everywhere the fight went, the skill and athleticism difference was insane. But that was pretty obvious before the fight to anyone not british

andre ward is extremely unlikable, so thats why people cheered for froch.
even the brits realized ward was the big favorite.

115-113 is the ultimate proof this fight was super competitive. Andre Ward was lucky to edge this one out just like Mayweather was lucky against De la Hoya.

No way was it that close

Yeah the floyd oscar fight wasn't close either in my opinion. At most i could find 4 rounds for oscar so my trollish post was more to make fun of the guys browsing boxrec rather than actually watching fights.

The "SD" in that fight was about as bad as the 115-113 scores in this fight.

I fully agree with your previous post, i just have a very lame sense of humor.

Well, on a serious note, I do actually think the FLoyd-DLH wasn't conclusive enough for FLoyd. I think he was scared of DLH's supposed power for a large part of the fight. He outboxed Oscar but could have put more hurt on him imo.

No way was last nights fight as close as 115-113,I wanted Froch to win by the way.

Mayweather vs De-La-Hoya was that close imo,I had a good seat to,5 rows from the front.

I use to box as well and still train some current pros

Ward put up a great performance. 115-113 was a crazy score. I had 8-3 for Ward, but Froch deserves a lot of credit for his effort and especially for his post-fight interview. Very classy. I assume Ward fights Bute next, but after he beats him then what? He might have to move down to fight Martinez. The money is going to be at the lower weights but I don't know if he can get that light.

i doubt bute is next. It makes perfect sense, but Bute is not really one to take on all comers from what it seems. (if theres a negotiation i suspect it will fall out due to money issues)

We'll see. Hopefully Ward beats the living crap out of Andre Dirrell but that fight seems ever less likely.

Ward could move to LHW but no moneyfights there. He won't fight b-hop apparently so thats that.

I was there on the night and thought it was REAL close(maybe a draw) ,when I watched it again at home I thought Mayweather just got it.

Can't remember which rounds etc ,not watched it for a few years.Would need to review it again.
