I don't see anyone taking out Jones without leg kicks. Leg kicks are key.

ya but machida is so elusive and doesnt have to step before he kicks

Jones looked very vulnerable to me against Machida in round 1 and took a huge shot that could have easily ended the fight 2 inches higher or lower. He also lost that round on any rational person's scorecard. In terms of domination, I don't see the comparisons to the all time greats being founded yet, though he is absolutely sick and most probably will rank up there one day if not at the top

My favorite was round 4 of Rampage Jones after Quinton had dropped 3 rounds in a row, and all Joe Rogan could talk about was how Rampage needs to keep leg kicking. He even asked Rampage after the fight why he stopped. You would almost think Joe Rogan has no basic reasoning skills whatsoever. My dad has been watching mma for less than a year and has a better understanding of what's going on in a fight

You aren't watching jones close enough. Machida was out striking opponents with a weird style they have never seen before.

Jones is doing this and then out wresting them and then submiting them. He beating them on every level and he has the wresting to chose what level the fight is fought on.

On top of that he is bigger stronger and has a longer reach than almost everyone in his weight class.

Machida is somewhat one dimensional and Jones has all the tools not unlike Anderson Silva plus elite wrestling. If you don't believe me look at the betting lines for his fights.

Watch the fight again. Wait until Jones attempt to clench/take down Machida.

Still think the fight was close? Watch how he toyed with Rampage. He was doing the same thing until he realized Machida could actually beat him at striking. Then he clenched and the fight was over in like 30 sec.

Not denying he isn't incredible. I am just saying no one is unbeatable. Crazy how fast **** can turn around in this sport.

You point out one round he has lost. I acknowledged Machida was as good if not better at striking.

Then the fight went to grappling and was over in no time...

Racism much?

....I don't care. These things have nothing to do with my post whatsoever. I made three points in a clear fashion. If you want to have intelligent and meaningful discussions then figure them out first and address as such instead of rambling about how long and strong Jon Jones is

I addressed any and all pertinent points. If you want to have a grown up conversation you would point out what I did not address instead of repeating yourself over and over.

Which points would that be rubber? I'm game here, you're not getting out of this. We will work through every sentence together, calling upon the very fundamentals of the scientific method and the English language (I can't assume you are a native speaker at this point). Don't back out now, this is a rare honor. You get to be my new bitch for a day

Why are you even arguing with him, just ignore him.

"
I am a big AO fan but...

at their current weights yes, but jones would put on weight to fight overeem. he has two brother's who are pro and d1 defensive tackles. they weigh 313 and 265. I think jones could easily put on 30 pounds of muscle to fight overeem not to mention the weight he cuts already. The reem is still a physical specimen but jones could hang with him at that weight. A+ striking plus A+ wrestling beats A++ striking and C- wrestling in my book not to mention that even at that weight jon jones's gas tank>>>>>>overeem.

jon jones loses a lot of his height reach and strength advantage he has at 205 but he is still just so much faster fitter and better wrestler."

Just look at this post, he assumes Jones would put 30 pounds and still be faster then the current heavyweights, and one of his reasons is he's got brothers who are pro athlete's so everything Jones would do in terms of gaining/dropping weight, he'll manage it without problems since he's got 2 pro brother athlete's...
He's doing MMA math comparing their striking like that and size. Jones against Reem or even Brock would get destroyed at this time, I'm not saying in some years when he's build into his frame accordingly and gotten a lot bigger that he's not going to be able to beat them, but in the present time, no. The reason he can takedown pretty much anyone he wants in the division is due to his huge body and the momentum he posses that he uses well along with expert technique. He wouldn't have the first advantages when it comes to the heavy weight division. Also remember that he tried taking down Rampage several times before succeding.

It's like saying GSP would beat Anderson Silva, which he wouldn't due to the sheer size advantage.
