Man, Sheamus cashing in on Rollins sure would be a terrible idea IMO. They've built a lot of heat for Seth's title run, and a heel ending it would be ridiculous.

He could cash in on Brock though. I doubt it, but it's possible.

I think he'll try, but somebody will stop him before the bell rings or something

That nose ring really completes the look for Sheamus

Sheamus's tights look like the movie poster from The Ring:

What's the point of executing a superplex when it literally never ever ever ever wins a match? I mean, isn't a wrestler who does it pretty much just a ****ing idiot in kayfabe? It's a risky, high-impact move and it wouldn't finish off Zack Ryder.

It's such a no-brainer to start having superplexes result in at least the occasional pinball.

does it count as a finisher kickout if you use your finisher and don't even bother to try to pin the guy?

it feels like it should

Really, if Bray loses to Roman, Bray may as well have goofy America's Funniest Home Videos sound effects play during his promos from now on.

Chances Bray wins this match? .05? Less?

pinball

But yes, absolutely. I don't think I've seen it win a match ever, or at least not since Barry Windham briefly had a second WWF run during the Golden Era where he wrestled like two jobber matches and disappeared. He did finish those with superplexes.

Can't say I understand that booking at all.

The long tradition of having MITB winners repeatedly job prior to cashing continues.

I agree 100% and I also think Rollins should hold the title until at least Wrestlemania.

I hate the commentary so much. I have a feeling that if Brock weren't on tonight, I'd watch 0 of this.

Doesn't seem that much of a longshot. If they don't have other plans for Roman for SummerSlam and just need to occupy him in Bray's vortex of suck, I would think Bray wins tonight to set up the revenge match.

Autocorrect obv.

But it sure seems like one of the kayfabe strongest moves you can do--instead of pinfalls it usually results in a "rest" situation where both wrestlers are down for the next minute or so.

WWE formula: lose to Orton early in PPV, cash in briefcase for title later.

They probably just figure that nobody will remember the match or the result anyway, since they didn't bother to build it in any sort of interesting way. And they're probably correct.

So basically they've created immunity for some booking decisions by making other bad booking decisions.

I'm glad they're at least making a big deal out of the women's division thing, even if I don't agree with how they're going about it.

Sasha. GOAT already.

I had thought about the standard Bray gets win and then loses at SS, but I just don't see it this time.
