And his music was a blatant `Smells like Teen Spirit` ripoff.

I actually thought the Bossman at the funeral was pretty funny. The thing with Al Snow and the dog was actually much worse.

+1 Bossman story being funny, like only thing worth remembering about his character.

Al Snow was just terrible.

Ye but it led to one of the most historic matches in wrestling history.

It was, it was terrible.

I do enjoy Cornette's rant on it:

Yeah Brawl for All was the ****ing worst but at least it provided a funny moment when the winner got wafflecrushed by Butterbean in like 30 seconds.

From what I've read, Brawl for All was created as a vehicle to get Dr Death over as a legit badass before a planned push as a main event heel. He was expected to win the tournament easily, not get KTFO by Bart Gunn. WWE brass were supposedly pissed that their new marquee signing from Japan had lost all credibility at the hands of a jobber before his run had even really begun.

Rather than push Gunn, they decided to punish him by having him KTFO by Butterbean at WM, scuppering his momentum. So in the end, the whole project was for nothing!

I'd say less than nothing since it also ended Vega's WWF career, and injured Hawk and Blackman.

I thought RtC was terrible, but I enjoyed fake marking out for them just to troll my friends who found them legit infuriating.

On Raw 1000 Gene Okerlund was said to be the mastermind behind GTV, to which Okerlund correctly responded, "I wasn't even working here then!" Basically they just never resolved that so instead they just joked about it years later.

It was supposed to be Goldust (GDTV was what it was called at first) but then he left WWF, so they did a few more and let it disappear

I remember one episode of Raw where I think DX beat up Kane, unmasked him and Pat Patterson took a picture. It was later revealed on GTV that he lost the picture. I was disappointed, but in hindsight, obviously the correct decision was made.

There's a shoot out there where Val claims they actually used a real sword and Yamaguchi San got a little caught up in the moment and came dangerously close to causing a legit injury.
