Since I have and pay for the WWE Network, I figure I might as well use it. Well since there is an entire section devoted to WCW pay per views, I might as well watch a few. But then I remembered that with the exception of a brief stint with the NWO, anytime WCW tried to get creative it usually wound up being complete ****. Sometimes it was fun ****, but a lot of the times it was just ****. So with that in mind I decided I was going to choose a PPV at random using my highly complex randomizer and just watch it cold with no context and then review it.

This is just something I thought of and it might not go anywhere, but we will see. I will make a separate post for each PPV, but leave this thread in case anyone wants me to give them random PPV to review. Ill try and make the reviews as entertaining as I can but its been a while and I dont know how sharp my writing skills are anymore.

So without further adieu sp? I give you the first PPV that I will review:

Slamboree '97

As will be the case for most of these, I either will have never seen it before or completely forget what happened or either what was going on at the time and will only put it in the context that the PPV gives me. I will however give you guys what the summary is on the Network when I run my cursor over it. "Natur Boy" Ric Flair, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and football great, Kevin Greene challenge Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Syxx. Holy **** this is going to be a bad watch. If I do remember something from then I will add it. Hopefully I can have this watched by the end of the weekend and have a review up on Monday.

I wish I could find the review I did on Slamboree 97 sometime late last year or early this year. I don't remember much about it but that's one of the worst ppvs from that year.

Regal, usually a solid choice to watch...meh.
Mysterio, got a dud out of whoever the **** that one guy is.
Madusa vs Vachon - dud
Mortis vs Glacier - dud though this made sense iirc
Malenko vs Jarret - meh
Benoit vs Meng - ****ing fantastic
Steiner Bros match - no
White vs McMichael - no
main event - was actually fun and surprisingly decent

1997 does feature two awesome Benoit vs Barbarian matches, one that is a LMS match as well.
Worst ppv of 97 is Souled Out. Don't watch it. Not even trainwreck good. Just boring as all ****.
