Sadly no interest in this match. Just futilely hoping for a Punk appearance.

Like I gotta say, this company has had 2 shows before this one and somehow booked themselves into a Hangman Page vs Fat Old Chris Jericho as a main event

Jericho kicks out of his finisher then pins him after slowly covering. Seems like a tough loss for Page. Putting the belt on Jericho seems questionable to say the least and he didn't even seem to have much heel heat at the end.

After seeing this. WWE has absolutely nothing to worry about. The hype is gonna die off for this show pretty quickly because they just don't have the horses to do the things they want to do at the scale they want to do.

That was not very good

There's some bright spots but wow is JR just awful now and it weighs everything down.

AEW's fanbase seems all-in (pun somewhat intended) and might be enough to keep it on TV, but I can't see them expanding their audience and becoming a legit competitor. Especially with weekly TV, I don't know how they're going to keep their main event scene fresh.

WWE pillaging the indies might really pay off here. They have guys stashed around who they barely use that could probably be top of the card in AEW.

AEW would have been such a good idea 5 years ago but yea the timing just seems like it couldn't be worse.

Seems like AEW was just created as a place for the bucks and Cody to sniff their own farts

Y2Fat has to be the champ with the TV starting up next month. I'd be surprised if he didn't lose it shortly after they're able to build a lesser known guy up with the weekly shows.

Apart from the Jericho match which I expected to be boring and it was boring I thought it was a good show. Once again not sure what people were expecting from people who regularly put on flippy **** spot fests.

I think this type of wrestling is actually much more interesting for a casual fan. I also think that they are doing a reasonably good job of putting on different types of matches, nice variety. Flippy spotfests are going to be the main but that's wrestling.

I would say that I didn't think a huge amount of it was amazing either, Pac Omega was a good match but nothing compared to some of the reasonable lofty expectations.

edit - I would say that I don't think this is going to rival WWE or anything like that, but even if they were completely crushing it they weren't going to. Should still be good for the wrestling landscape at the top.

That is amazing.

And it's a really good unexpected opportunity for AEW.

What exactly do you do once you steal something like that? Openly display the stolen item in your home? I don't think a pawn shop is taking it.
