Great show. I dropped a legit 'WHOA' out loud when Jungle Boy dropped the P-word. That was quite unexpected. Great promo by him, that was really necessary to take him to the next level. He even showed total control in being able to play off the crowd.

This episode has been great so far. Women’s tag team match really stepped it up.

Lots of great storylines unfolding and a bunch of stars returning, pretty interesting times for AEW.

That pushing the dumpster off the stage spot was super dangerous. The lids came off and one of the Ass Boys was nearly crushed by the edge of the dumpster.

Tony Khan needs to wrangle his booking into a handful of cohesive storylines with top draws and push the rest in minor storylines and exhibition matches on Rampage and their YouTube programming to see what sticks. He has fullblown ADHD as a booker, but I'm OK with that because WWE sucks dong.

It honestly feels like he has a lot of stuff on hold because of injuries. That’s not excusing it, but I do believe that is what’s happening.

I think it was pretty mediocre for a while and exacerbated by all the injuries. It dropped off a cliff after the Punk injury and then the nonsensical interim title tournies and battle royales afterwards.

I think they are finally back on track, and there are several intriguing storylines (Starks/Hobbs, Jungle Boy, FTR is red hot, etc.) and several big names coming back soon.

The other thing is that MJF never misses. You got a weekly 9/10 or 10/10 segment from him which helps the overall quality a ton. If he doesn't come back, I'll be very sad. Although now that HHH is in charge of WWE, there'd be a bit more hope they wouldn't ruin him if he jumps ship.

I’m thinking MJF stuff is tied into Punk’s return.

MJF/Punk and MJF/Wardlow could both be GOAT feuds.

I'm pretty sure they were going to turn Punk heel after he won the belt, and at the height of his heelish champion run they would have MJF do an "unsanctioned" shock return run-in on Punk.

Punk injury has prolonged that theory, but that might be OK because he will get a huge babyface reaction when he returns, giving him the opportunity to make a more impactful heel turn when he betrays the audience.

Mmm... Some good heat during that CM Punk/Moxley segment (with special guest, absent Hangman Page).

That's what the wrestling industry needs: Heat, and heat that feels real.

Did you notice that Omega shoot knocked Dragon Lee out with the V-Trigger? Dragon Lee was knocked out during the One-Winged Angel, too. Pretty incredible that Omega was able to still execute the finisher on deadweight.

Trios match was excellent, but the bracket is screwed up. All the best teams were on the left side, so The Elite v. United Empire will be great, but the final will be underwhelming.

That trios match was one of AEW's best matches so far.

Motor City Machine Guns announcement made me lose my sh*t.

CM Punk promo had awesome babyface heat with a good tease of his heelish nature (when he called out the fat fan; crowd cheered it because they want him heel). His trainer and Punk really stirred the audience into a frenzy leading into the ppv this weekend.

Main event was absolutely incredible. Will Ospreay paired with Omega, for many reasons, is just pure magic.

Will MJF interfere in the main event at All Out???

Really good episode of Dynamite.

Mox's opening promo was fire. So good.

Big Cass showing up was weird timing with the ppv this weekend but he looks great. And major props to him for overcoming his alcohol issues to look like a Hulk now.

Punk promo was weird but the second half was really good.

Main event match was really fun. The only thing I didn't like was whichever YB kicked out of the tombstone/ssp assist instead of having someone break it up.

I've also become a huge fan of Rush. Dude presents himself as a star and is pretty good in the ring. Same for Ospreay.

ppv should be fun. Looking forward to Jungleman vs. Christian the most since it's been the best built. Hobbs/Starks should be something too.

A Steel saved the PPV!

The trios tourney is confusing to me. You had all the best teams on the left side. The Elite v. Aussie Empire or La Facción would have both made for awesome main events, but instead you give them away on TV.

I get that they're going for the Hangman v. The Elite finals angle, but then why has there been basically no interaction between them to build up to the PPV? I would've much rather had a guaranteed banger finals rather than see The Dark Order (who sucks) and maybe this Hangman angle pans out, but maybe not.

11 matches seems like an awful lot though (and 3 more on the pre-show). I would much rather keep it to a tidy 8 matches, but oh well. Almost every match is a bit compelling, except I don't really give a crap about the random FTR + Wardlow team (although they'll prob put on a good show) or the Danielson v. Jericho match. The House of Black hasn't been interesting to me at all pretty much for their whole run. The Casino Ladder Match has a ton of guys who should be great for ladder matches, although I'm surprised they didn't add Sammy.

I don't really like Mox and Punk is amazing on promos, but kinda meh as a wrestler for me, but the storyline has been pretty good and I'm interested to see the pay off.

My main complaint is that the roster is just too damn big. Instead of these random 6 man tags where they mash a bunch of people together, have Miro build towards a singles match vs. Aleister, FTR vs. someone in a regular tag, Wardlow with a legit challenger for the belt, etc. Those matches along with the ladder match, Mox v. Punk, Hobbs, Tag Title Match, Jungleboy, trios finale, and women's belt match would've been my card.

The main event from Wednesday is for sure what should've been the final. The only interaction was Hangman declining to team with TYB's and it ended civilly. I don't think anyone cares that Hangman finally agreed or offered to team with the Dark Order.

I really don't get that Bryan/Jericho match. A chance to finally give Bryan a relatively big win? Huge Bryan fan but not looking forward to that at all.

Completely agree about the multiman stuff being way too much. And now that I think about it, the trios championship is going to magnify that issue for me.

Would also love to see Miro singles along with Malakai. Apparently Malakai requested his release in the past few days so we shall see if he shows up at all anymore. Brody King is another I'd like to see as a single.

Holy ****, if Malakai Black is truly done, then what a monumental waste that was! He could have had several awesome singles matches, but instead he was just involved in pseudo feuds via the House of Black faction, and I can't remember even one of them being remotely interesting.

Yah, I'm against 6-man or more tag matches in general, but I guess I'll give the trios belt a chance b/c at least the teams are more organic and not just random wrestlers teamed up for no reason. Any of the matches involving United Empire, The Elite, or La Facción were extremely good, but I doubt UE will stick around and when the other top teams in the division are garbage like Dark Order, Best Friends, or Trustbusters, I can't really see this division going anywhere. Plus it could lock up wrestlers like Omega and Hangman who would be better served bolstering the main event or upper-midcard scene.

It will also dilute the tag division, and I'd rather have a super awesome tag division instead of the separate belts.

Khan is just obsessed with constantly bringing in new wrestlers and carrying a massive roster so unless big changes are made, I think I'll also be left feeling like AEW is good, but could be great with the talent they have.

Trios was always going to happen. From the beginning, the Bucks have been extremely straightforward about their desire to highlight multi-man wrestling. AEW was built as a place to cultivate that mindset and bring tags and multis to the forefront of the industry.
